In the anime she says that she didn't went to the hospital so we can't say that she was lying.

I thin she thought she was pregnante because of her period but she didn't want to go to a hospital cause it was kotonoha that recomended it and she says in the end that she wouldn't go to a hospital recomended by kotonoha.

besides, stress and depression also might delay a woman's period.

So if you're talking of the anime, then I'd say it's one of the things that matters

the most, because I believe Sekai truely believed she was pregnant, while in fact, it was only the depression she was suffering.

Hoping that Sekai wasn't really THAT crazy.. I'd have said, she would have never killed Makoto if she wasn't "pregnant"...

Frankly, This is the best bad ending. The "Nice boat" ending they used in the anime is just weird...and left a bad taste in my mouth. I say this is the best because Makoto and Sekai actually learned something becuase of Kotonoha's death and Makoto realizes that he was wrong and that he shouldn't cheat. Maybe he could've kept going out with Sekai but it would be hard for both of them to recover after seeing that and shows that you should be careful of your actions someone might get hurt.

basically he said that he couldnt get a job, ended up working as a nurse, him and Sekai broke up because seeing each other only reminded them of Kotonoha and how she died. earlier in this ending to the story Kotonoha said that if Makoto would rather have Sekai then Kotonoha would make them never be happy together. needless to say she did just that.
