everyone does not share your perception of reality. We all do not tailgate. When you operate any motor vehicle you have to be aware of your surroundings. Plus, it's very easy to notice your too close to the other car.
i dont know were your from but in ny thats called normal driving and ive never seen in my 250k miles of driving a semi rearend a car. Ive seen a trailer 2 feet away from a car and keeping that distance, thats tailgaiting but what this guy did was nothing
I agree with lenvaltach! though you never know unless you see it which some semis do come up on a car but 90% of the time I see is the car moves in and slows! nice vids and I look foward for more to come!

It is possible that the car driver in front had moved in front in what was once a safe gap.
