Some might criticize the US for their high drug prices but they have their fair share of problems with the FDA. FDA restricts life saving drugs from getting into the market thus, not only killing patients in the process but skyrocketing prices as well.

The FDA itself is the problem. FDA is a tyrannical bureaucracy that restricts free commerce and denies choices to American citizens.
