I would say all these guys were really tough. This place was not somewhere you came to work on technique or drill. It was set up as the first hour was purely ground sparring and the next hour and a half was standing sparring. I think I saw one person get his black belt and he was maybe 15yr. He wasn't that tough yet but I know he will be.
Its hard to see but alot of these guys were higher than first rank as well. In the US people seem to take bb as being the end when it's the beginning.

Everyone there has a black belt. Does black belt mean you're a badass? Or does the colour have no significance?
