Sparkster's life icon is facing vertical. LOL!! just like the prototype of Sonic 2 end post was facing vertical in your face. Of course in the final Sparkster's life icon faces right just like in the final of Sonic 2's end post. Plus the music for Stage1-1 is a bit slow compared to the fast upbeat version of the song in the final.
It doesn't have that "Snkit" sound effect when he swings his sword in the beta. The final has it though.

The music for Stage 1 is slower than the final version which is more upbeat.
