Despite Livni's avoidance of Peres's vague and convoluted language, she fails to provide solutions for palestinians in need. On the other hand, Peres does not seem to care that as PM, he needs to take some resposibility for his countries actions. Instead of doing so, he atempts to avoid the issue by basically creating an advertisement for Israel's economy. No one will doubt Israel's economic success, but it is indirect and insensitive to Palestinians living under oppression.

I agree. There needs to be dialogue and opportunities for Abbas to respond and conclude as well. As for the arguments, I appreciate Livni's attempt to actually face the issues of inequality and frustration: refugees, immobility due to checkpoints and fragmented Palestinian territory, Palestinian suicide bombings, Israeli murders of Palestinian civilians, etc. There are numerous issues needing to be investigated and specifically addressed.

It is an OK discussion but there is no argumentation between the parts nor dialogue. It is just one speaking at the other.

What palestine what are you talking about?? No other arab country want or willing to accept the palestinian people..there was never such a thing Israel is the only country for the Jewish people and no one else..we are welcoming everyone in but ofcourse not terrorist or people who is not aggree to live in peace..the palestinia people are the only one who decided to deall and go for terrorisim no one bothers them ever...Israel are giving them work food electric etc..

Mr. betach23.There is no home for the jewish people. Sure there is. Their homes are the countries they came from. A Polish Jew homeland is Poland. A russian jew's homeland is russia etc. I have never heard of a group of people having 2 homelands one for their nationality and 1 for their religon. Should we give the Mormons or the Texan sect someone elses homeland because they feel persecuted? 2nd Shamir and Begin were wanted by the British because they were terrorist.

go and read the history , when Omar bin Khatab (a muslim leader) came to jerusalem , he made peace with christians without killing anybody, because christians were good in dealing with muslims ,

but with u criminals we are ready for the battle,
