  • the beautfil sounds makes me hungry for some reason...

  • Did you have to rejet the carb when you installed the Hypercharger?

  • do they make these for 800 Vulcan Classic's?

  • totally cool. loving the lights in the hypercharger. nice!

  • How did you Ron the wire so it's not visible

  • sweet man. totally doing that to mine.

  • I got one on my 98 Vulcan 800 and with the rejet kit.... Huge power. Found a vid of an 800 vulcan racing against a 500 hp mustang and it takes the mustang on the low end but the mustang takes him on the top end. Not a big surprise.... The bike was an 800... Not much room over 80 mph

  • I just purchased my 1st VTX 1800 C and I am wondering once I get the hyper charger and look to add the lights, will that drain my battery? It already has lower 50 watt LED lights. Looks AWESOME! Can't wait to get mine on...

  • any tips on getting the butterfies to work correctly.

i have a shadow 750 and cant seem to get enough vacuum too operate them.

    btw awsome leds!!!

  • get a bigger bike. the 750 doesnt require the amount of air that it takes to open the butterfly. i have an 883 sportster with all kinda goodies (including a 1200 kit) and the hypercharger pro r works fine for me.

  • @mudbug1991 they work on the 750... i posted that comment a long time ago....

check out my vids to see how i got them to work

  • i dont think a pre charger/post charger dyno exists on the internet. theyre mostly for looks

  • thinking of putting a set of these on my

m109r, i was just wondering what kind of power increase you noticed

  • Didn't really install them for power gains, I just like the hotrod looks you get from those butterflies. If you want power, go with a tornado. JMHO. rid safe

  • DAMN looks fucking cool

  • I already have one , and im thinking in installing another one on the opposite side. Is it possible ?

    Thanks !

  • I have seen a kit that allows you to install 2 hyperchargers on a VTX, but I don't remember if it was for the 1300 or 1800. You can try searching the archives on the VTXOA website. That's where I found it.

  • yes its possible, but is overly expensive and gives no real gains.

  • nice touch to the bike, props to you

  • jcdenton7, thanks man. didnt notice that.

  • Looks great but would be illegal in some countries as you are not allowed to show a red light to the front of a vehicle. ;-(

  • I did mine too, but put a switch on it, separate from the other LED's. Not only does the light show forward, but the butterflies cause a flashing effect that cops aren't too fond of. ;0P

  • It's a cruiser, not a dragster

  • @hallokid84 too bad your face is slow as shit, no props to you for saying such junior high type shit.

  • Hyperchargers look cool, but offer very little in improved performance...MaxAir kits are far superior.

  • I just bought the Pro-Charger after seeing your setup. WOW.... Did you install the jets that came with the Pro-Charger or did you leave in the stock ones? Thanks for your help. The bike looks GREAT!!!!

  • This is an 1800. It has fuel injection so I didn't have to mess with any jets. I did install a power commander though.

  • love it

  • wow awesome hypercharger i must get one for my vucan 1500 classic

  • The lights look great on that hypercharger.

  • What pipes do you have on that? sounds bad ass

  • silverado, he said he's got Vance & Hines Big Shots.

  • bad ass....

  • what type of leds are those white lights?

  • They are blue "electropods." There are better lighting kits on the market but this was a starter kit that is available for about $70 and it comes with 6 pods and 2 strips. I have three pods on each side and I never even used the strips.

  • So where exactly did you place the LED's? they kinda look like they are just inside the hypercharger, along its.. i dunno what to call it.. axle? lol

  • It is an adhesive strip that is stuck to the inside of the cover. There is a small slot in the bottom of the hypercharger that the wires run through.

  • It sounded nice with the stock baffles in it, all mellow...let me guess its now obnoxiously loud?

  • Only if you are old. Actually, the the difference in dB levels between the two are negligible. The difference in the tone I get from the thunder monsters just makes the bike sound like a heavy hitting machine.

  • im not old (25) just dont apprecuate going deaf when im on my bike and a harley pulls up next to me with essentially open headers

  • You can click on my user name or search youtube for "vtx thunder monsters" to hear a sound clip of my bike with the new baffles. They aren't that much louder. The only time it roars is when I get on it pretty hard.

  • nice

  • Good, don't come to my town them, cause my Bubs on my bike are LOUD, and I really don't care if you apprecaite it or not, get some ear plugs then, or go ride in the middle of the state on a farm if you don't want to hear trafic

  • Ive got the Bubs on mine too.The sound never gets old or annoying..

  • Good point, fltekdiver. I've got loud pipes on my bike, but I still wear ear plugs for the wind noise. It makes the pipes sound even better because I can hear just them instead of the whirr of the wind.

  • Nice mod, where did you get this hypercharger at?

  • I got the charger used from an individual. It's the Kuryakyn HyperCharger Pro I think.

  • neat... really sharp.

  • hey what kind of pipes do you have on there

  • They are Vance and Hines, Big Shots. When I took this video, they still had the stock baffles in them. I have since replaced the stock baffles with a set of Thunder Monsters.

  • How did you go about wiring the leds up since they are in the hypercharger? Where did you run the wires?

Thanks, I would live to do this to my red VTX, it would really set off the look.

  • The LEDs themselves, are in an adhesive strip that I just peeled and stuck to the inside of the Hypercharger. The wiring runs out of the opening in the bottom rear side of the Hypercharger. It then runs up behind the Hypercharger and then up under the tank and back to a switch that is wired straight to the battery.

  • Not to talk you out of it (as it didn't me) but be careful what you put on for accent lighting and make sure you can easily reach the switch to turn it off (which implies: make sure you can turn it off), as some LEO's don't get down on style for bikes. I have green LED's on my X and I've gotten by, a friend of mine has a combo of white under-tank and yellow in his hypercharger, he's gotten into trouble acouple times. Figure you know your local laws but just a word to the wise.

  • Nice man. I've done My X with a Pro Series R Hypercharger. I put all green under the tank and into the hypercharger. Here I thought I'd been original!! ha ha. VERY NICE

  • I just read original comments, sorry didnt catch it at first the LED mod looks great!!

  • I Love it ! I have a 1300c w/hypercharger and just got the lizard light kit installed, is this a kit that you bought or a custom mod?

  • Thanks, The lights I used inside the hypercharger is just a 10" LED strand that I got from my local auto parts store(PepBoys), The brand was "Pilot" and they only cost me $20. I havn't been able to find the same set online but I found another set like them made by "Electropods." They are packaged in identical packaging and the products themselves look identical so they are probably made by the same people. "Electropods" brand runs a little more though.
