On 2/1/2011, of this year I have been living with HIV, and is not ashamed to tell because God has been taking take of me. I Praised God for all He has done for me these last twenty years. I talk about living with HIV/AIDS all the time and I want people to understand that it is not an instant death sentence unless you put yourself in harm way. My grandfather elected to not have open heart surgery to repair a valve, and was told he had less than a year to live. Before he died, he wrote at the top of a hymnbook at this song - to his wife - that God would take care of her. She kept this hymn book open to that page on her piano for the rest of her life. 16 years later, at the age of 99, in the assisted living home she lived at, all the ladies sang this song (and others) around her bed as she passed away. God will take care of you!

His time on this side was too short but I cannot wait to reunite with him at the pearly gates to continue to blessed by his gift. @yralm07 That's the number one problem with so-called gospel music of today. It's not even in the same realm as this type of uplifting song. There is NO SUCH THING as holy hip hop. If you want to minister to a young person, go by what the WORD says. I had to. We, young people, are not given any special methods on learning how to praise God or how to get into his kingdom. No man cometh unto the Father but by the Lord Jesus Christ, The one AND ONLY way.
Gospel is the message of Jesus. Gospel Music is the message of Jesus put to music. You can put the message of Jesus in many different styles of music. People in other parts of the world sing gospel in different styles. You can't say their style is not gospel because it's different from the American style. You may have a gospel song with a Latin, Jamaican or Hip-Hop style. When Paul sang in prison (Acts 16:25) the style was different but it is still gospel music.
Remember leaders of different Christian sects, the will of God is undivided Christianity. Give up your churches, no more Catholic, Protestants, Adventist, JW etc. If you think that I am wrong then prove that you are right. Ive asked the Lord for the two simultaneous explosion of volcano in the U.S. within this month of December, pray that it wouldnt happen, if despite of your prayer it does happen, then know that God is with me therefore you have to listen to me.

He was diagnosed with colon cancer, & diabetes, which left him bound to a wheelchair, blind and placed on dialysis.Determined to disallow any disease from hindering him to sing and minister, Moore continued singing, ministering and recording until 1999. In the spring of 2000, shortly before his untimely demise at the age of 44
i still have the ORIGINAL DVD...my family attended this live recording...i can still remember it as if it was yesterday...the folk stood all night...the MISSISSIPPI MASS CHOIR does that to you....i love them....

To the family of Rev. James Moore....thank you so very much for sharing this "GIFTED" man with the world. His time on this side was too short but I cannot wait to reunite with him at the pearly gates to continue to blessed by his gift. I remember meeting him when I was little girl and my grandmother would always tell him what a big heart he had whenever he blessed our congregation.

What I have always liked about James Moore was that he threw all that he was into his singing/psalmist ministry. Especially on this album which is a classic. Anyone interested in this type of gospel MUST include this album in their library.

@yralm07 That's the number one problem with so-called gospel music of today. It's not even in the same realm as this type of uplifting song. There is NO SUCH THING as holy hip hop. If you want to minister to a young person, go by what the WORD says. I had to. We, young people, are not given any special methods on learning how to praise God or how to get into his kingdom. No man cometh unto the Father but by the Lord Jesus Christ, The one AND ONLY way.

Gospel is the message of Jesus. Gospel Music is the message of Jesus put to music. You can put the message of Jesus in many different styles of music. People in other parts of the world sing gospel in different styles. You can't say their style is not gospel because it's different from the American style. You may have a gospel song with a Latin, Jamaican or Hip-Hop style. When Paul sang in prison (Acts 16:25) the style was different but it is still gospel music.

He was diagnosed with colon cancer, & diabetes, which left him bound to a wheelchair, blind and placed on dialysis.Determined to disallow any disease from hindering him to sing and minister, Moore continued singing, ministering and recording until 1999.
