Gloves not glass :-) Thanks for tutorial by the way. If I were you I wouldn't buy it anymore, because it seemed to me more like a garbage in comparison with brass collection.
@wiederladerTv one less caliber to sort huh? How much did you pay for that? I'm only a 1 month old reloader currently only reloading 9mm, this makes me wanna go to my outdoor range and just pickup brass all day lol.
@wiederladerTv so Im guessing that would be cheaper since you have to sort, clean, deprime and resize it yourself. I know my local indoor has big containers that brass is put in, but I wonder if they would be willing to sell it to me. I might have to buy a "brass wizard' though cause getting on your hands and knees can get old fast, espically in the 100F weather here.
Interesting. I take it that brass came from an indoor range? Here our ranges are outdoor and unwanted brass is free for the taking if you want to pick it up.
@wiederladerTv The only issue with the brass from our outdoor range is that it often gets stepped on and can be full of dirt and clay, it takes awhile to clean up before it is fit to reload. But the price is right! The RCMP are qualifying this week at our range so there will be a lot of 9mm to pick up!
@fusil56300 Thanks buddy. I don't know how much I get for the scrap but I would not swap it for lead...if got 1200 Kg lead in store. That's enough for some bullets! ;-)
The way I do it - stack the 3 sorters with the black (9mm) on bottom, blue (.40 cal) in the middle and yellow (.45 cal) on the top. Separate them a little with your fingers. As you shake them all together the brass will separate all in one step. Considering there ls a lot of lead dust in all that brass I also suggest you wash your clothes separately. /John

@pingpong909 Thanks...I pay some cents more per kg than the scrapyardl so the shooting range is happy when I need some brass.

vash241987 6 months ago
@vash241987 Oh we have but not as much as in the USA. Most guys here shoot the 9mm Luger, 38 specail and 45 ACP.

Man that is a lot of brass! You could save the .22LR cases and swage them into bullets for .223 Remington.
