@queenofspades84 - i was extremely SHOCKED when I went back to see who wrote this. I couldn't believe it. I have my own reasons why the dialogue changed SO drastically, but I will keep it to myself.
@queenofspades84 THe Sonny & Brenda storylines were written by Clarie Lablain & Karen I forgot her name but she just resigned before Vanessa came back on ! Guza jr is the one now and he writees more for Carly he says she has the keys of kingdom!!

actually if they were going to show an old episode... i was hoping for the one where Sonny sees brenda at the car dealership... or when they both have a fantasy about each other.. or when sonny gives her that diamond tennis bracelet, and she goes to the port charles hotel to give it back..then she finds sonny with cindy... the "pretend" date to make brenda jealous..LOL that was GOOD!
@TIERRAJe - not sure what you are referring to. Are you talking about the "the ski lodge" story? If so, they are #ed 1-13. The scenes literally say, "Sonny & Brenda - In Canada Part 1" then it will say part 2, then part 3, and so on. There are 13 parts. If you are referring to the whole Sonny and Brenda storyline, type in "Sonny and Brenda - First Meet" and the next clip will be close by. You just have to search for it. You won't get EVERY SINGLE scene but you'll be able to get what you can.
It sounded like Sonny was going to leave the organization just to be with brenda.... aww... how sweet. He's tried to do that I say at least 2 times.... @ 17:53, Sonny is telling Harry to handle the "day to day" operations of the business..then he says, "after a couple of weeks, just tell people, he's not available." Then he says "if you can't contact me... I trust your judgment".
Watching this old episode has made me realize a few things. Firstly, the writing was WAY better back then. Secondly, the actors got away with a lot more in the love scenes and thirdly, Robin and Jason don't have much chemistry. Patrick and Robin on the other hand, explode on the screen. Just imagine if they had a lot more liberty in their love scenes. Woohoo! That would be dynamite.

The sad thing is Guza was writing back then too, he just had Wendy Riche at the helm reeling his crazy a*& in. The writing is pathetic. Even for character's that I absolutely love. How the actors stay is quite beyond me.

And look how beautifully she's dressed and her beautiful hair always nicely done, and manicure.OMG S&B should get better SL than what they have now and get married this time around. Scenes are much longer, you can tell that writers were trying to tell the story of each character.
@lerochka77 - I could have told you all of that. Yea, the scenes were like... 5 minutes each... the storylines and writting were TEN times better than what we see today. And I've told countless people that are newbie's, brenda was the most gorgeous character in daytime in the 90's. She has hyperthyroidism which is a disease right now which affects a persons weight. She got it after she had her son kassius some years ago. Oh, and her character wasn't HARDLY annoying, or whiney like now.
Thanks so much for posting this. I'm glad. However, I wished they had showed the episode when Lily passed away. Also, this episode gives the impression that back in the 1990's GH was almost all Sonny and Jason like it is now. Fortunately back in the 1990's there were many storylines and the Quartermaines were great.

The wedding seems to be a plot point for the stupid secret coming out and maybe some disaster, UGH they don’t need to write that. I found myself getting all emotional again. I could not miss gh back then. I felt bad for bren, because I knew what was to come. She was crushed when he told her leelee was pregnant. Couldn't stand leelee. And Im so happy she got blown to pieces. bye, bye leelee!

@rshad229 Heh, I liked her way more than Brenda lol. I don’t know, I just wanted to slap Brenda several times even before the wire and the Mighell shit. I only wanted to slap Lily once and that was when they were in Puerto Rico and she was being a bitch to her father and defending Mighell.

@rshad229 Me too on all points. COULD. NOT. STAND. MIGUEL. lol. I don’t know what I hated the most, his punk-ass bitch attitude, his singing, or his non stop freaking hair-flipping.
I hated every Carly but I loved to hate the first one and I really loved SJB in the role and when she was in scenes with MB.

@yeongiia I thought she was very likeable with Sonny during the Sorell stories. Like when he got shot, and trapped in the exploding building etc... When she was pregnant and lost the baby... She was awesome!

original S&C had a great story. The actors played really well off of each other, S&C should’ve ended when Sarah left imo.

@yeongiia Yeah!. Im happy they brought back the Old Sonny, they really ruined his character but its gotten much better. WIshing for an S&B happy ending wish she wasnt the major storyline but just with Sonny robin and like brooklynn

@rshad229 Well I hope you get some enjoyment from S&B :). I just think it’s really crappy that they’re writing S&B and the wedding being about everybody else BUT S&B. The wedding seems to be a plot point for the stupid secret coming out and maybe some disaster, UGH they don’t need to write that. They already wrote a disaster with Kate being shot (even though I liked that), but enough is enough.

@rshad229 Yeah he was, but I loved that, everybody was so down on him and I wish he would’ve been more “evil” lol. I only hated the car bombing because that was such bullshit. After seeing Sonny having so many breakdowns, nightmares and leaving Brenda because of what happened to Lily I think that was the biggest sack of shit Guza’s ever written for Sonny to do, that was so out of character.
