For those of you who don't know, in the scene where Michael is acting like a 'vato' he's mocking Crispin Glover for wanting to do that with the *older* George McFly in the end sequence of the movie. Apparently he thought it was the best way to show George's new found confidence, consequently Bob Zemeckis claims getting him into the actual costume was the hardest part of making Back to the Future. In other words Crispin is a nutcase.

My favorite movie series are Alien, RoboCop, Jurassic Park, Die Hard, Rambo, James Bond, X-Men, Rocky, Lethal Weapon, Spider-man, Batman, Mad Max, Indiana Jones, House, Evil Dead... BUT each of these franchises has at least one weak part while all 3 Back to the Future movies are brilliantly done. I adore this trilogy - pure masterpiece of cinematography!!!

Just got back from the 25th anniversary showing at the theater (today is 10-25-10, exactly 25 years to the day it debuted. I was very young when it came out). I couldn't be happier to see it on the big screen. The theater was packed. Lots of laughs, and great to see some people almost a full generation younger than me there to enjoy it. Interestingly enough, several references to "25 years in the future". And of course, Lorraine Baines (McFly) .... Christ Almighty. Incredible movie.

I've seen back to the future when I was seven and since then I had a huge crush on Michael J. Fox. I saw BTTF for a hundred times, I guess. He is my all time favorite actor (well aside from Tom Hanks)...He's not only famous on BTTF but also in Family Ties. Their tandem, Doc and Marty is absolutely a legend! We've got a Film Festival though, and sometimes they'll play old movies on the 'big' (not *quite* as big as usual, but fairly close) screen, so I did get to see The Good The Bad and The Ugly... Epic. Some old lady came out, and was like 'I didn't expect it to be so violent.' LOL
