  • i cried :")

  • Oh, I bawled like a baby. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I have a c-section scheduled for jut 19 days from now and I can't wait to meet my baby.

I LOVED the music you paired with this video. It made it so touching:)

  • congrats

  • i had section but thanks god my baby ok, but me not ok cause i do get lots pain my tummy and my tummy still big and i also so much numb my pelvis and sometime very ichy i try to scratch it but seem my numb and sore is normal this?,

  • @xXPriNCeSxXx anyone have same problem ??? pls.reply.thanks

  • aww how beautiful!!

  • hello doctor please get full cesarean video .and show all stage and works before and after cesarean.and please show skin belly and clean ponic

  • A C-Section can be just as beautiful as a vaginal delivery.

  • wat the name of the music begin at 6:35???????reply plsssssssssss it so beautiful.....and congrats.....

  • @Markjulian1007 LOREENA MCKENNITT THE MUMMERS' DANCE

  • @ Tumble weed I specifically said that women do NOT fail regardless of how their child is born. I'm pro midwife & I'm pro decent doctors who intervene and do a c-section if necessary. no all c- sections are necessary but some are.

@ Julie not sure if your response for me but if it was I never said anything was wrong with someone having an epidural. What I said was natural childbirth means NO medical intervention. I also said ALL of it is dangerous vag w/epi, vag w/no epi/c section. etc.

  • so this is wat the other side of the curtain looked like lol

  • thank a lot!!!!!!!! i had cesarean and too see this video i have an idea how it is!!!!!!! DOCTORS ARE GOD FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful choice of music for the birth of this little one. I had two c-sections my first when I was 19 (emergency) and 21 (they realized my pelvic structure is too small to pass a baby) and I struggled at first feeling like I failed as a female. It took many years to get past that and realized I brought both my boys into life the only way that both of us could survive it. They are now 17 and 15 and the thought of wether or not I am more or less of a woman is the farthest thing from my mind

  • Im having this done end of july 2010 im nervous as my two previous sections i was asleep and this time because its planned im able to be awake im very scared :S

  • very scared as got 2 have this done 25th march 2010,can u feel anything????????

  • hope evertything went well x

  • :) yay!! congrats. i was wondering, however, did you request the cesarean or was it for medical purposes? also, how was the recovery?

  • @mentallystable : I had a cesarean section too. Mine was optional... I have an illness (I'm not going to say what it is). But special circumstances told me I could either have vaginal or cesarean. I didn't take cesarean for the cowards way... I have my reasons. Anyways, the recovery was very slow and painful. I don't think the pain started going away until about 2 weeks after delivery and even then I still couldn't lay on my stomach. And now, I have no feeling just above my incision.

  • anyone know the name of the song playing towards the end?>

  • yeah.. If you can, Normal Vaginal birth is much better.. Because the infant can breathe easily, since it pass through a narrow passageway, which helps him/her to excrete fluids from his/her lungs..

  • memories

  • I'm glad to see it from this perspective. I had a C-Section March 30th. My advice, b/c I almost panicked myself, breath and think about the baby.

  • I had two sections with my daughters i was put to sleep with both of mine because i paniked so much. Me and my husband want to try for one more baby very soon im very scared of the operation again. has anyone got anytips for me to stay calm?

  • Try for a natural birth.

  • I can only have sections cos my pelvis is so small :S

  • uuuuuh I dont know how ur life has been but something the size of a watermelon comin out my cooch definitly wouldnt be the most amazing thing to me my daughter would be no matter how she got here!

  • im a 22year old mother had 2 csections. my first baby was 9pounds 3 oz my second son was 8pounds 4 oz

  • Shelly how dare you. And it is the end result that matters. Women who have c-sections did NOT fail. I don't have babies but I get to watch them be born.

Far as "feeling natural" births I can't tell you how many people claim that when they in fact had an epidural and didn't feel too much of anything . All births are dangerous whether they are vaginal or c-section. Watch a baby get stuck in a vagina w/their nuchal cord wrapped around their neck and you'll understand that it's all dangerous.

  • @NYWoman Women don;'t fail, it's the doctors and the system in the hospital that fails them. Hire a midwife!

  • I wouldnt want to feel a natural child birth! I'm happy with my cesareans! (I've had 3 and am due for one more) All I give a damn about is hearing my sons and daughters cry! I dont care how they came out of me, as long as they got out! LOL I do feel bad for you though, being so very "holier than thou" must take alot out of you! If your daughter had to have a cesarean, would she be a failure along with the rest of us pitiful cesarean moms?

  • it ain't nice

  • that was no gentle entry...i cant stop shaking....they proper tugged....im so glad i had a natural birth...salutes to all the mothers who did this.....and baby's first welcome was some baster stuck up his nose and down his throat. OUCH!!!! drs are rough boi!!! nice music hasnt helped the shock of this vid, i dont want any more kids, one is enough. oh and childbirth upset me just as much, i really need help now...ow!

  • Wow, there is a lot of ignorance here. I have had gestational diabetes with my pregnancies. There is a high risk of complications. They carefully monitor the size of your baby. I have been lucky and controlled my sugars adequately to be allowed to have vaginal births(baby must be under 10.5 lbs) I had to accept, however, that complications may arise and I may need a c-section. It isn't a good or bad thing. Whatever keeps mom and baby safe is all that matters. Grow up and quit judging.

  • i love this song, too...people need to stop being judgemental /acting like this is an abortion vid :(

    & Congratulations, cowgirl2105 I wish u the very best!

Gotta go upstairs to my bouncing baby boy- he's now 9 months now & he's calling lol

btw, I know for sure u did well!

  • i need to have c sections i have no choice you are all saying that c sections are wrong thats like saying we should not have children you all need to go thou it first what would you rather have a dead son or daughter to bring home and love foreva or nothing becuse of your shite belifs lilatinmama totally agre with you hun xx

  • C-sections should be done- only when necessary- due to many factors- I'm just glad my baby & I survived through it.

  • yeh it does bother me that i can not give birth natraul but at the end of the day my babies are born alive i am going for my third c section in jan and im glad that my baby will be alive when born i ahev a conditon i carnt have babies normal i loved my c sections becuse i new that if i had a normal birht i would not be leaving hopsiatl allive or my children so we ddint fail as you said we falied to be propper you need to no ya facts first

  • u r so correct leannet1986- some of us don't have a choice!

  • Babies decide when they are ready to come out. They are not fruit to pick

Cesarean section has been invented to save babies's life when they are distressed, not to add more violence to birth, just to satisfy the needs of too posh to push women who don't have a clue about motherhood, nature, and life in general

  • fanita79-the natural way is surely the best way- but in my circumstance- I didn't have much of a choice & ur words make me cry- because I already feel bad about it.My 11 yr. old was born naturally-but was smaller & I recuperated faster. However, despite what anyone says I tried my best & I breastfed each child- but there are some women who have medical issues & can't, so.Btw,w/my 11 yr. old I had zero contractions/zero cervical dilation & the placenta was old!W/my 2nd I had zero dilation& waited

  • you people are twisted..choosing to have a csection is the most irrational and stupid thing I've ever heard.you must be so far from your natural instinct.babies are meant to come down the birth canal and be born vaginally. It is a passage and process that allow them to complete their final maturation. The compression of the chest in the birth canal help them breathe at birth, the hormones of labour and the pressure on their skull activate parts of their brain, preparing them for being in the world

  • I'm 5' even- I had gestational diabetes, seizures & other health issues- plus my son weighed almost 10 lbs. w/broad shoulders that would have surely gotten stuck.

C-sections reallly suck- I had an experience w/ the epidural & I'm allergic to a lot of pain meds. & since I've been in a major car accident & had herniated discs, pinched nerves, sciatica, clots in my legs, pre-eclampsia- u name it. I had to have one- it looks easier for others- it was a nightmare 4 me!I now have MRSA 7 months later!

  • a thumbs down 4 my comment stating my true disabilities that led to a horrible nightmare of a c-section 4 me? Women w/gestational diabetes r more likely to have "sugarbabies" & it may look & sound cute-but it's not-they tend to weigh more & God forbid get diabetes themselves-plus, yes their shoulders can get stuck in the birth canal!

Now if some1 gave a thumbs down- because they want to have this major operation out of convenience & it's en vogue 4 them- they r dead wrong in their reasoning!

  • 20 weeks preggers with the same questions. Which is the best delivery method? C section seems to be the way to go but people have told my wife that recovery is traumatic.

  • to answer ur question revvegas-recovery is real tough without pain pills & help from a good husband...

  • Thanks, now we're 27 weeks and I think we're going elective c section. I'll take good care of her as I am the best husband...ever!:)

  • ive been watching all kinds of birth delivery video for a few months now.... you see im pregnant right now (23weeks) and i cant decide to have a natural delivery or a c section. my doctor told me i have a choice as to what i would like to do but im not sure. what do you all say????????????

  • Yeah an epidural is essential in a cesarean section birth, considering the scalpel factor =/

  • is epidural injection painful?

    i think its rather dangerous

  • assts. sterlization is not good

  • wow that was beautiful!!!!!!

Is it better to have a c section or natural??

Do u feel the c section?????

  • you dont feel pain during the c-section due to the epidural (the 1st part of the video). The lower part of your body is numb to the pain although when my son was born my wife could feel the doctors pushing around almost as though you were having your insides washed out. She was very happy and it is very quick.

  • Thanks so much for your reply, hope the baby and mum are doing great!!!

  • yup they're doin just great, coming home in a couple of days.

  • omg!

  • What an awe inspiring video of the miracle of birth! The music so perfectly fits the mood of the video. Thank you for sharing your joy with us and best wishes to each of you for long and happy lives.

  • I had 2 previous c-sections and am going to have another one in 6 weeks. I always wondered what they did. My husband watched me have the c-sections and tried to explainthem to me because we're not allowed to video tape them here. Thanks for sharing, this was a great video.

  • Most cesareans do not save the woman's life or the baby's life--or if they do, the majority were made necessary by impatient doctors (like your first son) or antiquated hospital protocols. Maybe you don't feel like you were cheated out of anything, but to tell those who *do* is akin to telling a woman who survived a rape that she should just be happy she is alive, and to "get over" the trauma that occurred to her.

  • While I am really glad we have the technology to save women with this wonderful procedure, I have to agree a little. My doctor pushed and pushed me for a c-section because my baby looked large. I refused, and had a vaginal birth. When all is said and done, a healthy baby is the most important, but I feel like I am being robbed of my natural feminine function by the thought of a c-section. The idea of being cut puckers my butt, to say the least, lol.

  • Frankly, this doesn't look too "gentle" to me. So he doesn't yank him by his neck out of the womb, but listen to that poor little baby cry! He still pulls the baby by his head/neck, then he gets hard plastic suction down his throat, and his life-line is clamped before he even starts to breathe, and he's handed off to complete strangers to bond with a plastic box and cry to a heat lamp. You call this "gentle"??

  • fantastic, i´m in tears

  • wow... that is amazing... i was so drugged up on pain meds. that i knocked out during birth... it was hard.. giving birth to twins.

  • luv the background music

  • Beautiful and edifying. Thank you for sharing this with all of us :) *teary*

  • i didnt like the music very much

  • wow What state do you live in . I work in OB and in Oklahoma you are not allowed to video tape the birth..... I wish i could have had mine video taped.

  • traumatic!!!!!!!

  • I always felt like I was cheated by my c sections. seeing this has changed my mind. Thank You for posting this and making my next one so much easier..God Bless

  • Every c section is risky and traumatic to the infant. It should not be done if not recomended because of health risks.

  • You have no clue. My son was saved by this surgery. And a Uterus ripping after a original c section is a very real threat to the mother and the child try looking it up on google and get the stories from the women themselves.

  • What a splendid video and so precious. Both my boys were born this way, and I wish I had their arrival recorded in such a lovely way. (My husband might not agree!) Thank you for sharing this most important and wonderful occasion. Great music too - can I ask what it is?

  • I recomend reading Marshall klaus books, eva reich, and also and more important of all go to the site birth as we know it . com or search for birth s we know it 100minute promo, and enjoy

  • is there any part-2 also?

  • wow I have had three c-sections and would have loved to have them on video to document such a miraculous event. You and your children are very fortunate to have this on video. Its very special thanks for sharing.

  • awesome

  • That was the placenta that was delivered.

  • this video brings back so many memories, i had 1 vaginal birth and 2 cesareans, and they wouldn't let us tape none of them at our hospital. i wanted to so bad, your lucky you got this for memory, i got some pictures but video would have been better.

    love the music!!

  • umm

  • This is an awesome video. It's a good idea to capture for memory. Anyway, was that the light effect that the head of the baby when coming out was white and not really bloody as I saw?

And what was the thing at the minute of 6:40 they took out from the mother?

  • The placenta! :)

  • The baby's head was white with vernix (a coating that protects the skin in the womb and should be left for the baby to absorb, but is usually roughly rubbed off right after birth). There was no blood because the baby went from the amniotic fluid straight out, and all blood vessels from the incision were cauterized so they wouldn't bleed much. Most vaginally-born babies have blood on them from maternal tears or episiotomies.
