Messi's boring. He never does anything creative. All he does is play the ball off peoples shins and cuts. and since he has a low center of gravity, it's hard to take him down. which also gives him an advantage when he does the cuts. I'd rather watch people like Ronaldo, Robinho, Drogba, etc. any day. I watched this video just to see if he does anything creative, and NO! scoring goals while using basic moves does not make you a great player. Being inventive and creative makes you a great player.

I think Messi expresses himself perfectly in the way he´s playing. I totally understand if you want to see a more "spectacular" playing style (like the one of Cristiano Ronaldo). When i look at messi clips and maradona clips there is a striking similarity. Both dribbled in the same way and scored the same kind of goals taking on whole sides, (Maradona had more flair in his dribbles.) Both controlled games through their passing ability and link up play. Are people's judgement based on emotions or is it based on the meticulous measurement of each quality that makes a player the best. Additionally, how can people boldly judge players from different generations when they only see other players in clips? Wowwww! This was such a beautiful clip, quite fantastically put together. Messi's speed on the ball his beyond human. It's sometimes invincible. I don't understand how his brain works. Its like he is a machine programmed to get at the goal at all costs. When i look at messi clips and maradona clips there is a striking similarity. Both dribbled in the same way and scored the same kind of goals taking on whole sides, (Maradona had more flair in his dribbles.) Both controlled games through their passing ability and link up play. Maradona had more flair in his dribbles though. The main difference is that Maradona was deadly from free kicks and he had a powerful shot from outside the box. So from clips its hard 2 say Messi is better than Maradona

@scientistn1 they are pretty similar.the only difference is messi is faster,more turns &his skill just wrong footed evryone.maradona is more of a wing type player.while messi played in more of a central role.almost like an attacking midfield.its like an attacking version of di stefano with maradona dribbling abillity.im not gonna decide who's better.but id would pick messi over maradona since he is more versatile & a team player.he can play in the midfield

Sometimes I wonder on what criteria people judge players to be the best and the best ever. Are people's judgement based on emotions or is it based on the meticulous measurement of each quality that makes a player the best. Additionally, how can people boldly judge players from different generations when they only see other players in clips? I really dont like to emphasize to much on comparing players that reach levels of greatness that make them incomparable.

Wowwww! This was such a beautiful clip, quite fantastically put together. Messi's speed on the ball his beyond human. It's sometimes invincible. I don't understand how his brain works. Its like he is a machine programmed to get at the goal at all costs. He doesn't dribble to showboat, he just attacks the goal with brute force, hypnotizing speed and effectively simple dribbles then shoots or pass. I know his style is very similar to Maradona but there is something distinct about messi. Amazing

Wow man... This kid is the illest in the game right now. He makes it seem so easy. No doubt about it that Messi is the best of his time. I like how this video showed everything from an overhead view. It allows u to see how Messi develops plays & how he assists his team. Every1 just pulls to him & @ times, the kid would have 7 players on him. DOPE.

In this whole vid, not 1 step over or drag back, he gets to the goal, he cares bout winning, if this was Ronaldo it would be skill this skill that, as messi proves having all the skills in the book doesn't make you a good player. messi keeps it simple and is the worlds best player.

Messi is a GREAT FOOTBALLER , the BEST ...BUT he does get TACKLED and he does LOSE POSSESION of the Ball however im saying this beacuse people always say that:
Messi never gets tackled
He never loses the ball
He can beat 11 players
