Terrys' legacy will live on forever all across the world.
I am going to Victoria B.C. soon, and hope to see the statue of him,and rememeber the struggles he went through to help out the young to old to fight cancer.
Terry must be rolling in his grave seeing how the multi-millions raised in his name have been squandered on junk science that only benefits those with a vested interest. What a tragedy that Terry's courageous accomplishments are being subverted year after year in order to deceive and swindle the public.
R.I.P. Terrence Stanley Fox with the knowledge that all truth is being revealed and in time, the charlatans and evil-doers who have purposely deceived the public will all be held accountable.
I think you need to do a little research into where the money that the Terry Fox Run goes. The Fox Family themselves oversee where the funds go. This is why they created their own foundation and distanced themselves from the Cancer Society. I know because I know the Fox Family. It is not lining some president's pocket with a 7 digit salary - it is going to research institutes like Princess Margaret in Toronto and U of Ottawa and their research facility.
Excellent video im from thunder bay hes the reason this city has so much pride when ever u visit the statue here inspiration strikes and terry fox is the reason of inspiration he is simple canadas true hero Long Live Terry Fox , Long Live The Marathon of Hope R.i.p Terry u truely are the best ;););)
Thank you so much im 52 years old & to this day Terry Fox is still my idol .. sometimes when you think your having a bad day I look at his poster in my basement & smile my day aint that bad !! Thx
Imagine having your life be finished short of your twenty-third year. Canadians did not understand back then, just how much this young man would affect us all. His bravery and strength in the face of this horrid disease was something that pulled at our hearts and has never left us. His wish to end cancer is now in our hands and we must never forget to honour it for the sake of us all.
I remember seeing the film they made about him when it came out on VHS in the Uk and how moved I was by it.They didn't hide his faults and it was all the better for it. Just made the guy more inspiring.
Great video! Terry's story should be an inspiration to all of us regardless of where we live. Though Terry would never say it, I believe he was a hero of humanity, not just Canada.
Hey personally with this song playing.....I believe you could get this video played on a nationwide outlet. Just one thing missing, the end needs a picture or pictures of the Terry Fox statues across Canada....Thanks for this video, in America the history books tend to only teach us about Americans, I'm trying to learn about world heroes every day...Terry Fox is my new inspiration....
Hey, that's a great idea! I couldn't get all the pictures, though, I found a picture of a statue of his in Thunder Bay but that's it. But I'll keep looking and even trying, then I can remake this one.
That was a really nice video. The pictures and song went really well together. I wonder if the Fox family has seen this video. If they haven't, they should.
Maybe you can send an email to Darrell Fox. He's the Director for the Terry Fox Foundation. You can probably email him by visiting the foundation's website.
Wow! Thanks so much for the idea, my friend! Also thank you for the lovely compliment of my video, I am glad you liked it. I'm am really please to have made this humble tribute to a great Canadian. :)
