I've owned this for 2 yrs and have never used it. I only bought it because it was on sale at Target for $20 or so. I think I'll try it out tomorrow and see how it works.
@keisha1030sd havent had a comment on this vid for a year lol, but yeah try it out, its alright but eats batteries be careful, i suggest rechargeable batteries
this camera have some serious flaw in electronic design. It takes inadequately high amount of energy from batteries and eats up decent alkaline pack in 10-15 minutes while considerably warming up.
Please note, YOU CAN NOT use rechargeables as they do not provide 3.3 V required and camera will not even start up after ~5 of recording on NiCd or NiMh rechargeables.
lol I know it kills a lot of batteries, I don't know why :/ maybe its low budget or something, only recommended to those who can't afford the expensives cameras. But it's an alright camera all-around the battery eating just gives it away on why not to buy it if you can afford or wait on a better camera. On my take it's allright now, I used to not have any cameras, I now have one, so will be using that :). Movie files are always too big though, so I encode to make it small...but thanks 4 comment.
@ Lasses: true, I personally like my camcorder, except the battery eating. I'm the kind of guy that doesn't really care about the delay of sound if its on the camera, because AS LONG as the sound is precise and synchs well or near perfect when I upload it to a computer, Device or whatnot. I don't blame you for returning the camera, I just think it's worth it if you have a couple of rechargeable batteries lol.
I swear I've heard that opening sound before. As a matter of fact, I've had an Aiptek camcorder myself, but they suck ass at making decent camcorders, so I returned it.
Why do they suck? Well, for one, it delayed the sound when I paused/resumed while recording. Annoying.
I'm the type of guy who always improvise upon exceptionally cheap things to make the most out of it; my mic is headphones, where sound is edited in Audacity, and my "camcorder" is my phone, where video is edited in VirtualDub.

Nah, I meant the opening sound that plays every time you open up the camcorder.
