  • I like casino much more than the good fellas there just wasn't a likable character in that movie. Also i believe pesci and deniro have more layers in casino.

  • Awesome video! I love Scorsese. Goodfellas is my favorite movie of his, followed by Raging Bull and Mean Streets.

  • wheres Cape Fear?

  • this guy needs to bring gangster movies back

  • goodfellas casino taxi driver raging bull mean streets ... ... ... departed aviator gangs of new york Can't stop wondering what happened to him between '95-'02. The sharpest decline in film directing history.
  • Mission? Angel Heart? Once upon the tim in America? Heat? Deer Hunter?

  • Czosnkowainwazja none of those were Scorsese. They all had DeNiro though. Except Mission. No idea where that one came from.

  • @WamooseProductions deniro is in mission

  • @Czosnkowainwazja its not a deniro tribute

  • 1. goodfellas

    2. taxi driver

    3. raging bull

    4. the departed

    5. casino

the rest is tough to put in order for me. i find gangs of newyork to have some incredible moments and performances that are hard to forget but the movie was also very flawed in some aspects as well.

  • I can't believe how often people rank "The Aviator" near the top of the list. It's a well-made picture but nowhere near the height of Scorsese's powers. 1. Taxi Driver 2. Raging Bull 3. Goodfellas 4. King Of Comedy 5. Mean Streets 6. The Departed 7. Gangs Of New York 8. The Last Waltz 9. Kundun 10. The Aviator The rest I haven't seen, but anyone who ranks The Departed below "Gangs Of New York" needs to get their head examined.
  • best films in order

    2.Taxi Driver

    3.Mean Streets

    4.Raging Bull

    5.Casino

  • scorsese is the best in what he does

and he is one of hollywoods best directors ever

and when we talk about only one movie of

hes we say GoodFellas and here you all shut the fuck up

  • i played nine ball with him in 70 beat his ass

  • its what he does and its good

  • Well, every great director has there own themes. Kubrick had a facination with sociopaths. Nicholas Ray with outsiders/loners, same with raoul walsh. Spike Lee, uses racial themes. The music, and the violence are key elements of the scorcese film.

  • pointless violence? martin's characters are representing certain people in our society, the violence is put in for a reason, showing how unglorifying some people in our society are. Such as the god father which romances with gangster lifestyle, in the good fellas Scorsese makes the point that gangster life is very unromantic. and that there is nothing great in living a violent lifestyle and like all of his movies

  • The best three directors of all time; Scorsese, Tarantino, Kubrick...

  • nice.

  • would be better with moving visuals instead of photos. nice

  • Bravo.

  • Scorsese goes down into history as one of the best directors of all time.

  • great song(Jumpin J. flash) ! the lyrics, the music are really related to characters like Johny Boy,the goodfellas
