1st of all, it releases the blood from the meat. The meat is fresher, and free of toxic from uric acid in blood. Good for us.

2ndly, It is humane because the animal died with minimal pain. When u cut the arteries, the arterial blood pressure to brain plummeted, and this will cause it to be knocked out. Same thing happen when u jump out of bed from recumbent position.

There are betters ways to kill then others. Chopping the head off, like with this fish, is humane. A quick kill. What I hate to look at are when they slowly boil it or cut it all up alive. At least have the decency of killing it first. It's not just a culture thing. Americans boil lobster and crab alive, and that is just vile. Many people need to be more sensitive and let these animals die without agony.
