  • There were no dead turkeys in the barn when I shot this video but there were birds peacefully at rest. We all wore protective clothing as it is a biosecurity measure required of all visitors to protect the BIRDS, not us, from outside viruses. There was no awful stench. The windows and fans kept the air circulating and fresh. Screens on the windows keep out other birds and eliminate any avian influenza risk. This turkey producer is a local farmer.

  • Did anyone notice the DEAD TURKEYS laying around the turkey warehouse? Did anyone notice that the men in the decontaminant suits were probably wearing them to protect themselves from the bacteria caused by housing animals in such close quarters (can't you just imagine the stench of ammonia???also created by these horrible factory farms. BUY POULTRY FROM YOUR LOCAL FARMER! Avoid Perdue, Tyson and anyone that belongs to the Turkey Association!

  • Did anyone notice you don't have a clue of what you're talking about? "decontaminant suits were probably wearing them to protect themselves from the bacteria". Yeah, wearing those clothes protects you so much...what what??? those are disposable clothes used to avoid taking microorganism from the OUTSIDE into the farm.

And I didn't see dead turkeys laying around but yes, turkeys die everyday in the farms and that's perfectly normal if it's a very small amount, that means nothing.
