15 month deployments, little to no discussion about the purposes of morally questionable military obligations, a tradition that actively disrespects service members' human rights, chronic neglect from leadership on crucial issues the list goes on and on. We have low deployment levels, and high enrollment in the military. I think the problem is that people with personal problems and people who have mental problems are joining the military while unfit.
