@PAP300 Its only unlocked if you find the bounty card that unlocks the sniper rifle

Tip on killing alpha drone

He (well it) always swings his arm when u get to close

Its easy to dodge so do so and during the time keep firing your SCAR gun

its such a shame that by this point the game had degnerated into a bit of a mindless shooter (albeit a good shooter), because the stealth kill missions in the earlier part and in butcher bay were AWESOME.

seems they ran out of cool mission designs, and just gave you guns instead.

still fun, but not nearly as fun as uit should have been

and they even gave you an overpowered gun that didnt need ammo, so there was no way to do it differently.

there were no more dark areas to sneak around, and even if you did, the enemy seemed to know you were there right away.

its a fun shooter, but i didnt really want to play a shooter, and the awesome first half of the game kind of overshadowed this, didnt it?

but all in all, it was still a better shooter than most recent FPS games, i think

@skytop082 Are you seriously telling me you can sneak by those big ugly brutes? No, its not possible. I am not trying to say the game is bad as a shooter, its still a very enjoyable game, but its not nearly as good.

When the only weapon you have makes huge explosions, and you need it to get by certain areas, then stealth is NOT an option, is it?

But still a fantastic game.

@w0bbl3r Those guys are boss battles, of course you cant sneak past them, i was talking about the normal enemies.

@skytop082 Ok, how about when youre on the athena, and you go through a hatch in the floor, just after telling the guy who is being turned into a drone you will pass on the message (or not) to his family for him and then killing him, you come into a room with a load of regular guys. All I did was hit the light with my stunner, and they knew right where I was, when in butcher bay I could use that all day long and all it would do would be to freak them out

Or the gravity core? No chance of stealth

@w0bbl3r There are shooter segments, Like the part you mentioned leading up to the mech fight, There were parts like that in butcher bay, Like when you fight through the cells to the pit, Or during tower 19, the game is well made and its not meant to be pure stealth.

@skytop082 No, but my point is that athena is far more of just a standard shooter, especially in the last half, than butcher bay is.

i seriously dont remember any section where I had a gun for half as long as I had the SCAR when I was in butcher bay. Tower 19 I didnt have a weapon other than the stun gun, if I remember right. After the mech section I was sneaking around again above the yard, with the guy I had paid to distract the guards shouting out he had contraband (til I stunned him)

You have to destroy the signals and talk to that guy again. This walkthrough doesn't show him doing that shit and this guide has missed a few bounty cards.

where do you find those transmitter arrays?

i found 2 in the area the guy asks you to find them, but dont know where the others are.

have you done it? are they further on, or back the other way from where he gives you the mission?

its driving me crazy now.

The last two you have to go back to the city where you ran into the old man. One around the city in the back and the other near the building out in the sea.

thanks man, but i found them about half an hour ago.

i was determined to not move onwards until i had made sure i hadnt missed them.

but since you never got more ammo for the sniper rifle, it wasnt really worth the effort i dont think.

and the game has now just become a standard shooter, which is also a shame i think
