Play sand is fine for you dragon. Aslong as you take care when feeding then itll be fine. Plave there bowls on a large lid so if they drop anything from there bowl it wont land in sand unless you sit there and pick it up before they eat it. Not every dragon sleeps on walls! Bearded dragons live on the ground. I've never seen a desert plant grown out of rocks, they eat leaves growing off plants from the sand! Which means beardies spend some of their time in the sand, and some of their time in rocks. So dont try selling they live on rocks!

Yeah do away with the sand. My beardie was impacted for a long time. A tip for impacted beardies: give 4 drops of extra virgin olive oil. They poop in like 10 seconds. It's crazy.

yea, rule #1 is learn facts about your beardie. that consist of a habita, that he likes. not you, that black beared means he is angry/stressed. also, the habitat needs to be spotless off all that shit. all beardies like to sit verticle to the uvb lighting. get stuff alot closer to the uvb. and rule #2 is cardio, loose some weight fattie. :) have a nice day and do your research.

My viv is custom built so much bigger.fresh water,food ie veg,crickets,locusts,wax worms head removed 1st. dandilions,clover,corriander,parsley,rocket,red pepper had 3 girls 1 male for yr, top female laid 2nd clutch of 15 eggs. 1st clutch huge surprise, no intention of breeding as very aggresive.great repitle vet, regular checks. go outside for natural basking when temp really hot. bath them min once a wk to help hydration on vets advise. good luck

Beardies live on rocks and high places... Maybe u should give me a link to this discovery show on Beardies, love to see who taught u they lived in sand... Now ur the first who say they sleep in sand, my dragon sleeps on a custom wall high up, I NEVER seen him sleep on the ground... he sleeps on wall, or log, or rock... just sayin

where to begin... SUBSTARTE tile or carpet your viv. LIGHTING you neeed a uvb light to prevent mbd TEMPERATURE GRADIENT!! always have a cool and a hot side. speaking of temperature, never use them stick on thermometers make sure it has a probe. night light is only needed if you live in Antarctica. 110 in basking spot 85 in cool side and you're sweet. ~!~!~!~!~!

min 4x2x2ft, uva plus uvb min of 10%. My viv is custom built so much bigger.fresh water,food ie veg,crickets,locusts,wax worms head removed 1st. dandilions,clover,corriander,parsley,rocket,red pepper had 3 girls 1 male for yr, top female laid 2nd clutch of 15 eggs. 1st clutch huge surprise, no intention of breeding as very aggresive.great repitle vet, regular checks. go outside for natural basking when temp really hot. bath them min once a wk to help hydration on vets advise. good luck

hey lizard chris, its good that ya got a hobby and not doing criminal shit as alot of kids doing now but that tank is way to small though mate, cant you o a vid on ackie monitors or the mating procedure ok. i own a nile monitor, a frilled neck dragon, a beardie but will get a female and getting a green tree monitor and woned a tegu which was around 6ft. cheers

oi hells rage you just said that beardies come from australia and new guiniea yeah you are rite. so you are telling me the babies beardies in the wild dont eat food even if there environment consists of sand ? the impaction of the use of sand came from a youngster who put way to much sand in his viv and his bearded dragon ate the food and the sand its not bad to use sand but not alot its a big thing now and i cant see why because they have sand in the wild dont they
