That's why we have the electoral college, buddy. I understand quadratic equations and most equations and things that can be taught. I'm not a sharpie. We need more IQ tests for such positions and certain people should be barred. Personal limits. Everyone can do something. Not everyone is fit for everything, nor can they do everything, it should be noted.

Any sort of requirement for voting tends to be a slippery proposition, since the politicians make the laws, and hence, can make the test slanted towards their constituents.

It would be great if it could be implemented though. A 12th grade math exam for anyone running for office and voting; not just solving 1 quadratic equation.

Hell, it might cut down on spending if the politicos understood the difference between a $700 billion bailout and a $700 million one :/
