  • Any body else notice that whenever Tony leaves a period in his life behind, he always does that gesture with his hand. Leaving home, leaving all the people he picked up on his way to Kansas, leaving his dishwasher job, leaving Pete, he always does that.

  • Your the prize in my box and the box is my country. Can't be better said!!!!

  • i could have sworn when i saw this clip yesterday, you could hear the harmonica player on the train playing a full riff, instead of the few pathetic notes i hear now.

  • Brilliant.

  • my father showed me this movie at a young age. changed my life.

  • This movie was forgotten until it was brought back to VHS in 1998.

  • i wish people will speak like this again. if something's wrong with the world today is that rommance is gone... I AM A DISH WASHER!!!

  • Who remembers this on TBS late at night in 93? i was 11 years old looking at one of the TV Guides and this was mentioned on TBS with Heavy Metal, Vampire Hunter D, Robot Carnival etc. as i thought animated movies at late at night i should tape them and they rocked my boat. I did bought the uncut videos of Heavy Metal and Vampire Hunter D to Robot Carnival when i was 14 in 96 and this when it came out on video finally at age 15.

  • because of the corn they grow; kansas people arent corny, or at least arent known for it

  • "boid's eye." lol.

  • Im mexican , so excuse my ignorance when i ask this ok?

Why does the guy keep saying Kansas is corny?

  • "Everyone plays guitar, man. Everyone plays guitar."

  • I AM A DISHWASHER!!

  • thank you so much!!!

  • i want to know who is the song when tony is in the train please :)

  • it's called "this train" but i think this is a peter paul mary version called "freedom medley" (i might be wrong)

  • I love that they basically have Tony writing Bob Dylan and Jefferson Airplane songs. Such a great movie.

  • Sweet! Peter, Paul, and Mary.

  • The blonde waitress is hot.

  • is it just me or does that guy sound like christian slater?

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck this is good shit

  • take da bus

  • if someone could hook me up with a tab of the American Pop version of Dont Think Twice on guitar, i'd love you forever.

Not Bobby's tab, THIS version of his song. I'd love you forever.

  • Who's version is it because I want to find it. It is better than Dylan's version.

  • wats song at the end?

  • Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice".

    It's a fucking amazing cover.

  • janice joplin mo fos

  • isn't she supposed to be janis joplin or grace slick or a combo of both? i like the singers version of both dylan songs better than dylan himself.

  • she is also meant to be Grace from Jefferson Airplane too, its just a movie not a documentary tho. :>

  • All of the images/people in this film are based on images of American Pop culture. The musicians in the band, the kids on the couch, the diner, The poet reading Ginsberg, the hobos on the train. All images of Pop culture. The movie isn't based on anyone in particular. Just the images that molded the times they were in.

  • who's the actress that does Frankie's voice? She looks like Molly Ringwald

  • What's the song called? At 2:45?

  • I think it's "Bound For Glory" by Woody Guthrie

  • This rendition is done by Peter, Paul, and Mary.

  • Most of his song material inspiration prolly came from this corn-silked haired girl.

  • Does "this Train" go by another name? I can't find it anywhere.

    Who originally wrote it?

  • Read the credits at the end of the movie. The original artist and/or the writer will be credited. Google their name/s.

  • goddamnittt.... i bought a harmonica just so i can learn how 2 play california dreamin.... $5 down the drain

  • the train scene is excellent

  • When he was talking about corn......that was hot. HA! Cheese.

  • anyone know how to grab the version of 'dont think twice', where hart is singing?

(the song at the very end of this clip, where Tony is writing on the bus).

  • Bob Dylan wrote it, Peter Paul and Mary did a good version of it.

  • dis guy must think he's charming

  • This movie is absolute gold!
