Any body else notice that whenever Tony leaves a period in his life behind, he always does that gesture with his hand. Leaving home, leaving all the people he picked up on his way to Kansas, leaving his dishwasher job, leaving Pete, he always does that.
this movies a classic, pure genious, reminds me of so many things and times, saw it when i was 9 or 10 never forgot it it touched me in a way n if not 4 u tube might of never seen it again ,not many of my friends have n i forgot the name ,i new american something, anyway amazing changed my life wish everyone could see n appreciate it american culture at its best, love the movie and glad i found it,brings back memories does anyone know whats in the guitar case, i think its smack?upsn downsof usalife.
i could have sworn when i saw this clip yesterday, you could hear the harmonica player on the train playing a full riff, instead of the few pathetic notes i hear now.
Who remembers this on TBS late at night in 93? i was 11 years old looking at one of the TV Guides and this was mentioned on TBS with Heavy Metal, Vampire Hunter D, Robot Carnival etc. as i thought animated movies at late at night i should tape them and they rocked my boat. I did bought the uncut videos of Heavy Metal and Vampire Hunter D to Robot Carnival when i was 14 in 96 and this when it came out on video finally at age 15.
All of the images/people in this film are based on images of American Pop culture. The musicians in the band, the kids on the couch, the diner, The poet reading Ginsberg, the hobos on the train. All images of Pop culture. The movie isn't based on anyone in particular. Just the images that molded the times they were in.
thanks for the answer me!!!:D

if someone could hook me up with a tab of the American Pop version of Dont Think Twice on guitar, i'd love you forever.
Not Bobby's tab, THIS version of his song. I'd love you forever.

janice joplin mo fos

isn't she supposed to be janis joplin or grace slick or a combo of both? i like the singers version of both dylan songs better than dylan himself.
ordquelu 2 years ago 2
she is also meant to be Grace from Jefferson Airplane too, its just a movie not a documentary tho. :>

Does "this Train" go by another name? I can't find it anywhere.
Who originally wrote it?
Sam666gelber 3 years ago
Read the credits at the end of the movie. The original artist and/or the writer will be credited. Google their name/s.
