The movie "Before the Rain" and it's soundtrack have haunted me for years. I've never forgotten the way it made me feel. listening to Anastastija puts me right in the middle of Macedonia, I feel like I've been there before. Thank-you pesijazal
Could someone plis tell me what the lyrics of the song mean?..i´m from Argentina and i´m clueless and i really wanna know. The song gives me goosebumps everytime
@yacanleaveyourHATEon a person passes over from one state of mind to another inspired by the Jesus (in my opinion) though it is materpiece that can easily put any country's most sanctified person that had greatest influence on converting people's beliefs and religions
I remembered the first time I saw the movie "Before The Rain". The thing that striked me was the beautiful film-music. This song is great, haunting and somber.
Whats the name of the "guitar" that the guy is playing. Its not sounding like a conventional guitar to me or am I wrong?
A Balkan variation of a strummed string instrument, which in the Middle East is called tambouine, and in Greece bouzouki, but the Macedonian tambura has its own original sound and a very long tradition.
one of the best compositions of its time and genre. this song and anastasia's other brilliant work in 'before the rain' did a lot in conveying the haunting beauty of the Balkans and the cross-cultural trials and tribulations people have been enduring for decades
