  • IF YOU VOTED FOR OBAMA IN 08 TO PROVE YOU WERE NOT A RACIST , VOTE AGAINST HIM 2012 TO PROVE ARE AREN'T AN IDIOT !!!!!

36,000 jobs lost friday alone from NASA , and the numbers keep climbing , gas prices went from $1.86 a gallon in 08 to over $4 a gallon 2011 , Obama keeps pushing the change, the problem is , its not improvement , its just more back sliding into a deeper hole.

  • 3/11, $4.11, 7/11, 911

  • Buying small cars, take public transp., do this or do that..if you see the big picture, it's all controlled..no matter what you do to financially survive or just get ahead, it's already planned to be taken away from you. That's why there are complicated tax laws...corporations influence these laws to hammer the little guy while they make the big bucks and pay little taxes..all planned..you foot the bill for their greed...and they say the pyramid scheme it is illegal..unless you are a corporation.

  • bush =fail economy stupid white cracker trash drive dodge

  • #gasprices? #gaspuppets. Cars are obsolete and pollute. FreePublicTransit . org - CarFree . com - BicycleCity . com - PostCarbon . org - GasLandTheMovie . com - TheCorporation . com - Debt slavery is now way to run a society. No nukes, too dangerous. Peak oil is a serious issue: youtube . com/watch?v=cJ-J91SwP8w - Transition now to green, local economies, healthy organic farming.

  • I say let gas prices rise. With $5 gas maybe Americans would stop driving living rooms on wheels and buy small cars which are adequate for most transportation needs. Perhaps Americans would drive more efficiently instead of constantly breaking the speed limit and racing up to red lights. There's no need for the government to compensate for the bad habits of many Americans. If you're not getting at least 27mpg in city driving then what you're paying at the pump is your own fault.

  • @i90east And how about us independent contractors who need trucks and suvs for our work? Think!

  • Turmoil in oil-rich countries is only PART of the story. Prices go up at the pump when 'they' expect us to drive more. Surprise them! Join the "Bike It Or Hike It" campaign (see my video for details). If you don't drive, you don't use fuel. If you don't use fuel, you won't have to buy fuel. Do the math...what kind of ding will 2 days of UNREPLACED losses do? Let's pledge to take our cars (as much as humanly possible) off the roads on April 15th & 16th. This is NOT a useless 1 day boycott

  • Hell.. GAS in US are for free!! More than double here in Sweden.. Almost up to 9$/gallon now... Well i drive on Biogas.... so ;) (CBG/CNG)

  • Who pays the fuel costs for the Government ? The Taxpayers ! so in turn all gov employees that have some sort of power .i.e government officials ...do not pay for there own gas. so in retrospect they really are not affected by Spiking oil prices . Our Gov. sucks ! They waste more fuel than any other institution on planet earth period......!! Greed is why we are in the economic strain of today ! and the gov. in turn helps the greedy !

  • Relax everyone ;) Here at europe 1 US gallon cost $7.... So your gas prices seems like for free to me

  • US gas prices are very low compared to European countries.

  • Food and oil prices are rising because of increased consumption by the growing Chinese and Indian middle class. They are bidding up the price of production. It has nothing to do with unrest in Libya or anywhere else. It also has nothing to do with QE2.

Once China and India go into recession, commodities will drop in price. This is what happened when oil crashed in 2008.

  • why do people rant about things they know nothing about. People just rant about their opinions which don't matter. So please be quiet unless you are actually involved in government or at least know whats actually going on. If you don't like the gas prices get a bike or a moped!

  • It's ALL about greed and price gouging....period!

  • Also I want to know where Pelosi, Reid, Feinstein and Boxer are on this issue. Under Bush when gas prices went up to $2.65 per gal. They were screaming and Bush bashing, blaming him saing he was in on it. Where are they today? Where are their rants to get gas prices lowered? Why aren't they sticking up for the people now on this issue?

  • We hold 80% of the world oil shale why in the world we are buying oil from other Countries. The dept of energy was established in the 70s to get us off foreign oil dependence at the time we were 30% dependent on foreign oil today we are 70% dependent. Its time to abolish the dept of energy for being a huge failure. It is time we use our own resources.

  • HEY bo, STOP the moratorium, you are making things WORSE NOT BETTER what is your problem? Are you that ignorant? YOU just don't care do you. (hello Hugo Chavez) we will see 20.00 for a gal. of gas. we (U.S.) are the ONLY ones that are not drilling, the rest of the world is drilling in our gulf...WAKE UP!!!!

  • @meltdown53 Barry doesn't give a fuck. He'll do whatever he can for a quick temporary fix so things seem like they're ok until he's re elected, then he'll do whatever he wants

  • @meltdown53 When Obama took office , Gas was $1.86 a gallon and people were going nuts ! calling for Bushs head on a stick !!! , Bush passed the "Drill here Drill now" that would have cut our dependence on foreign oil and created jobs in America for Americans ! , OBAMA REPEALED THAT PLAN THAT BUSH PASSED !!!! cutting jobs , driving up gas prices and hurting America and Americans !!!!

Hussien is an idiot and will be a 1 term President !!!! OBAMA PROMISED CHANGE , NOT IMPROVEMENT !!!

  • I have an IDEA, how about WE drill our own oil...too simple?

  • And America doesn't get any oil from Libya. Also, Russia and the Saudis offered to stabalize the prices. You are raising them yourself to make profits. This is just a BS report.

  • Could have used Hawaii and Yellowstone geothermal to make hydrogen and hydrogen cars ages ago. But the degenerating west is more interested in selfish quick cash than investing in the future. And don't brown nose and cull for your baboon peer group, then complain about it when it gets you.

  • once again Sarah Palin was right, drill baby drill

  • @1Guitarslayer Do you think we aren't already digging in every Crevice in the world? We need to switch the entire power grid, not increase our dependency on oil. We will just tighten the shackles on our wrists an ensure we all die when oil is gone. We need to switch NOW.

  • LOL tap into the strategic oil reserves.... it holds 727 million barrels of oil. The US uses 21 million barrels in one day! 35-40 days is what it will take to empty it. Gas prices will rise and stay high till everything goes back to normal...PLUS filling up the reserves again!

  • @Cr3ater They will never fill up again, the US is already using it's reserves bit by bit. This is because you are using more than you take in.

  • @DvineGaming thats wrong...they do fill them back up slowly. I know how the system works.

  • @Cr3ater you think they actually fill them up? One of the guys who worked as an advisor for Bush was interviewed and said they cut into reserves and lie about how much they have in reserve so they can keep using so much.

  • 0bama wanted high gas prices because he said so. 0bama also said oil is yesterday’s energy source, even though so called 'green energy' is not ready to replace today or tomorrow. And what of the gulf drilling moratorium, Mr. President?

Strategic reserve is a placebo but he wants to be re-elected. Meh.

  • We've only got a few months worth of oil reserves...?

Yikes. We gotta get on the ball ASAP and start investing in an alternative energy source for our vehicles.

    I just got goose bumps.

  • @MinmatarThrasher Not even, the USA can only use those reserves for 35-40 days at the current rate oil is used. And don't expect that they will even care about you. Nobody will be allowed to drive and the oil will be used on public transportation and power plants. Obviously the rich get whatever they want so they will get tax cuts and all the oil they want.

  • @DvineGaming *throws hands in the air*

Always the rich...why do you people insist on aaaalways pointing the finger at the rich..

A fucking asteroid would strike earth and you'd probably blame it on the rich too.

    For the love of..

  • @MinmatarThrasher Well. The reason we don't use more renewable resources is because the oil companies buy out and destroy anything that comes into play.

  • @DvineGaming By reneweable you mean alternative? In that case I'd believe it, but that's not *rich peoples* fault. That's the fault of oil corporation CEOs trying to hang on for dear life of their company. They'd be much better off exploring other energy sources if they want to solidify the future of their companies.

Atleast that would be the smart thing to do in the long term, but apparently they're not thinking long term, just making a buck in the short....

    *shrug*

  • @MinmatarThrasher At what point in time were the oil CEOs not rich? The banks support the lobbying of oil companies and watch each other's back to keep their selves rich.

  • That is great they will last a few months. Anybody thinking ahead?

  • U.S. Dept of Interior Secretary Ken Salzaar, said that the White is not in favor of tapping into our ouil reserves, according to cnsnews.com Thumbs up if you think cbsnewsonline sucks.

  • Thumbs up if you think YouTube news sux.
