well first look at the story line, it started out as a love story, and then thers the name "Elly", which is similiar to "Eve", and then there is the fact that this came out right after walle, and has all these things, and then there is the main character which is built off of a cube, and walle is built off of a cube, and then there is the whole flying thing.

I'll admit there are similarities mate, but the old guy from up isn't a robot and he isn't wall.e, so it's not really a sequel. It's just a movie with one or two things that are vaguely similar to walle.
