I was in Paris in september. It was dirty, littered, people pissed on the streets (evening/night), especially the 'romantic' riverbank walkways. I saw many rats, both alive and dead.. Add to that a high number of shady characters and NO police patrols and you've got a city you don't want to visit. I have no grudge aganist France or the city itself, I was hoping it will be nice.. But it wasn't. Maybe it's better during the summer. Or if you're heading straight for the Eiffel Tower etc..

Europe looks nice in picture, but other than the tourist area, it's a piece of shit. I visited Paris and London over the summer. North American cities are much more modern and new. European cities are dirty, with small streets and houses. I felt like I went to a third world country. Nice to visit, shithole to live in.
