  • Did you have a guide to help you get the body apart? I have a 1964 Impala that I will be working on soon.

  • @reydehonduras No guide..

  • Did you have to modify the tranny bracket to fit the 350 turbo? I'm looking to convert mine from a powerglide to a 350.

  • @MrJuanneri I did'nt have to modify the tranny bracket it bolted up to it without a problem. But i did have to swap out the yoke and shorten the driveshaft 2 1/2 inches..

  • nice work

  • good work dude!! this is truly an inspiration to me as my dad just gave me his 62 SS ragtop...its a complete bucket at the moment - but i figure its the perfect opportunity to do a frame off restore on it...just like you did, take the body off and start form scratch...cant wait to get crackin on it

  • @DeathByGravityBlast Thanks for the comment i'm glad you like the video...

  • Hey how long exactly did it take to restore it?

  • @hotrodrdz Thanks. The engine is a sbc 350 out of a 70 to 73 chevy camaro.

  • how many hours do you have into the frame restore.....?

  • @TheMichaelrichard So far i have 75 hours into the frame as it sits....That includes disassembling the rolling chassis, taking it to get sandblasted, spraying it,reassembling it with all new suspension parts, fuel lines, brake lines, and bolting down the engine and tranny...

  • No problem ImpalaDaniel i'm glad the video was useful to you...
