@MrJuanneri I did'nt have to modify the tranny bracket it bolted up to it without a problem. But i did have to swap out the yoke and shorten the driveshaft 2 1/2 inches..
good work dude!! this is truly an inspiration to me as my dad just gave me his 62 SS ragtop...its a complete bucket at the moment - but i figure its the perfect opportunity to do a frame off restore on it...just like you did, take the body off and start form scratch...cant wait to get crackin on it
@TheMichaelrichard So far i have 75 hours into the frame as it sits....That includes disassembling the rolling chassis, taking it to get sandblasted, spraying it,reassembling it with all new suspension parts, fuel lines, brake lines, and bolting down the engine and tranny...
Not finished with the restoration yet, so far i've completed the chassis and almost done with the sheetmetal work on the body... Should be transferring the body to this frame pretty soon...
Did you have a guide to help you get the body apart? I have a 1964 Impala that I will be working on soon.

Did you have to modify the tranny bracket to fit the 350 turbo? I'm looking to convert mine from a powerglide to a 350.
