This is not a disgrace to the comic series, in my opinion. It was one of the best Walking Dead fanmade trailers on Youtube. The only thing that didn't get me was the guy who played Rick voice acting, but the dialogue is basically something related to what would be said in the comicbook. I don't know why 'fans' are complaining about if. If you don't like it, spend your own time and make a better trailer. I don't what the fuck the problem is.

When image came out when i was a teen i was blown away bye the deep rich color styles, the best in the industry. with zombie storys there is so much opportunity for the best color. it sets the mood, it can make you feel there, in the story. but i agree, some films are better in b/w.

It looks like they tried to give it a 70s feel. as far as comics go i havent been keeping up on anything new since i was in high school, my brother bought walking dead vol 1, i read it and was hooked. back in the day i was a fan of scifi stuff like starwars of course, predator,the OG AvP, Malibu comics Breed was awesome, spawn, the basics really. The Punisher was my faverite tho.

I'm an extra zombie on the set and these people are not the actors, this is not the graphics, and the production is much much higher then this. The critics judge it the way they would a high-budget remake, which isn't fair considering the limited resources and budget. The monolouge was well chosen, and the Zs were well done. My only criticism is that it should have been much more subtle.

I was SO excited when I heard this was greenlit. After seeing this trailer, I'm absolutely disappointed. The acting, cinematography, effects, acting, and acting are the worst I've ever seen. These people handle firearms so impractically and fake that it makes the bad adobe after effects gunshot animations look even worse.

As a hardcore TWD fan and Zombie extraordinair I have to say: WORST TRAILER EVER.

I loved the art opening, except for the title card. Probably should have used the same text that appears on the comics. Also, you guys seem to be falling prey to an overabundance of special effects and an underwhelming supporting cast. Your zombies, particularly, portray NONE of the menace that their literary counterparts do. I know its hard to "get into the role," but if you love the source material, grant it the gravitas it deserves!

That being said, good on all of you for doing this.
