  • i dont care if hit bring this back in CGI becuase i think the CGI thomas is realy good

  • Hercules is so fucking smooth.

  • but why did they shut the show down???

  • @imagreatbigman the bloke who wrote it died and all his scripts for the second series were being held by a company who went bankrupt. its a big shame.

  • Hercules' voice still reminds me of Albert Wesker

  • funny OJ line at 8:24

  • britt alcroff before she quit thomas the tank engine she tried to get tugs aired in the us since britian had already seen it and she really wanted to actually continue the seriesso did mittion who was the creator of tugs but the people who owned the show that aired ttte wouldn't let them

  • Damn, it so sad that this GREAT series had to come to an end so quickly. But then again, maybe it was all for the best. Had TUGS not been canceled, then it would've ended up like Thomas in recent years, having been eventually sold off to HiT Entertainment, being loaded up with TERRIBLE storylines, and worse yet... SEE-GEE-EYE!

  • anyone got any bright ideas? or even a stupid one?

I could set fire to my garbage.

    ROFL

  • i wonder why other ship like the duchess & the ss vienna looks alot like the real ship called the titanic they look more alike like sisters.

  • @tyneandwearguy1 The series is set about a decade after the Titanic, and cruise liners tend to have long service lives, so similar-looking ships would almost certainly be around. Further, they based the designs on real boats, so it wouldn't be a surprise if they did copy the Titanic, or a sister ship, for the design of one of the liners.

  • @RailwayFalcon This is really really geeky but I read somewhere (Wikipedia) Vienna was based on the Cunard ship RMS Mauretania built just before White Stars Olympic class (Olympic, Titanic & Britannic). The other liners were The Duchess (seemingly based on SS Imperator) and Princess Alice (seemingly based on an actual SS Princess Alice). Check them out, it seems to be accurate.

  • Waa! Bring it back! TUGS is like the BEST boat series for kids!

  • @EdwardPercyScruff It's pretty much the ONLY boat series for kids.

  • @2001Randomkid There's a series called Theodore Tugboat, though it's not as good as this. :S

  • @crazyracer12 You're right! It has the most annoying theme tune ever!

  • I just recently became a fan of the show and I want this show back now!

  • you would think captain zero had no money after never winning anything and getting hardly any contracts lol

  • That kerosene filler guy sounds like Billy Shoepack.

  • i am just old enough to remmeber watching thisss

but looking back you realise how fantastic

    and trippy it is ;)

  • Wow there is some suspence in this episode. since this was the last episode it had to be good. i'd grade it a 100%

  • warriors retarded

  • @chadsexington4 he is <3

  • @chadsexington4 they based him on a cross reference of the Irish viewers persona. :p

  • also i bet he would love a go on lily

  • hercules looks like a pedophile

  • Anyone got any stupid ideas?

I could set fire to my garbage! XD

  • 0:14 Titanic!

  • @jackloobyloo titanic was never in this series. This took place in the 1920s not 1912. if u r talking about the RMS Olympic (the Titanic's sister than they can pull the olympic into port

  • @captainofthetitanic they do mention Titanic though. In the episode Ghosts they talk about the sinking of 1912.

  • @windogmassey1 well i watched the episode like 10 times after your reply and still couldnt find the part of titanic

  • @windogmassey1 hmm, i am sure its that episode. Will have to watch them thru again.

  • @dinocoking Ewan wouldn't have been a good choice, plus he would have only been 17 when TUGS was first broadcasted.

I think Patrick Allen was the perfect narrator, just like RIngo Starr was for Thomas.

  • then chirstopher lee then?

  • Christopher Lee is actually a good narrator, I heard him narrate a saga for the metal band: Rhapsody of Fire.

I don't think his voice would have suited Captain Star, Patrick Stewart's voice would suit Captain Star.

But as I already said, Patrick Allen was good as Captain Star.

  • know some tugs his voice would have suited: top hat or hercules

  • @jivio well i think captain star is as good as he was TUGS 1989-1989

  • Startug - Is there anyway of getting hold of these? I had the VHS's as a kid, and now regret getting rid of them! ! Thanks for uploading. P.S Do you know the episode with the train crash at the end?

  • i believe the one with the derailment at the end was called high tide.

  • Thanks for that SCL, appreciate it.

  • Comment removed

  • your welcome.

  • That would be High Tide, auders.

  • damn lily is a cock tease if i was big mac id tap that barge

  • @mrladlow uh you're creepy,

but i think lillirs voice is sexy

  • Comment removed

  • @mrladlow its lillie

  • @FLYTRAP47 id tap that barge even if her name was dave

  • @mrladlow i meant you spell t her name wrong

  • omg thank you!! I love tugs! Got rid of the videos years ago...loved em when I was younger..even at 24 I get all excited!!

  • your not the only one! lol. I'm 24 too. Must be our generation!

  • has to be mate!! I'm that sad that I have realplayer download manager on my laptop..so I downloaded the vids off here and still watch em when im bored lol

  • TUGSSeries Whe narate's this, tom baker?

  • The narrator is Patrick Allen :)

  • I love watching Tugs when I was a kid!

  • I loved this show back in my younger days. brings back memories.

  • There should've been more episodes maybe over 26.

  • i know it is so upsetting

  • has any one seen that in this opeing ten cents numeer is backwards but the name isn't

    from forth of july

  • I absolutely love Tugs!

  • Does anyone know how i can get these on DVD?

  • Hercules looks a hell of a lot like Jerry Rafferty

  • @MadJackManiac Are you kidding? This is the best episode. The storyline is perfect. Name one fault and I'll back it up. The most ridiculous storyline is Trapped, but even so was pretty good.

  • "Any stupid ones?"

    ...

"we could set fire to my garbage!"

  • thomas and tugs i like them both but which is better theres only one way to find out FIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT*thomas and tencents fight

  • thomas would kick the S*** out of lil ten cents, if you count it as an equal fight thomas would be 15?, ten cents is like a tiny kid, percy and ten cents would be more even, or henry and herculese.....i think too much

  • thomas - ten cents (leader)

    percy - sunshine (leader bf)

edward - hercules (kind and wise)

    toby- OJ (old)

    daisy - lilly (sluty lol)

    gordon - big mac (strong)

henry - warrior (strong but clumsy)

    james - top hat (proud)

    diesel - zorran (evil)

    duck - big mac (helpful)

  • I grew up with thomas, and Steam trains have always my favorite machines ever. Tugs however, was a more entertaining series for me.

  • I Loved This!

    :)

  • radios

    are you deaf

  • In those early days only large liners were fitted with WHAT??

  • Wireless.

Captain Star is referring to the radios of that era.

  • Too bad this show's run was so short. It was good.

  • @taiyo888 brings back so many childhood memories...another thing, why the fuck have Postman Pat, Noddy, Thomas The tank Engine e.t.c been animated. What was wrong with the good old model set that took skill and passion to make?

  • You not surgessed on of you have my fuel barge, are you?

  • I hardly even saw this show. Thomas became more popular, so I think it replaced TUGS.

  • Lord stinker ha ha

  • 2.17...douglas!?

  • it is not douglas wrong type of engine to be douglas

  • they should have put tug into the thomas show

  • they shouldve made more episodes, this couldve been bigger tahn thomas!

  • certainly more entertaining and realistic

  • Farewell TUGS! We miss you very sadly....

    ...sigh...

  • i remember watching this in the early 90's, disapeared around 1997

  • Actually, it was made in the 1980's.

  • i know that lol

i was talking about when it was aired =)

  • the last one.....goodbye lads happy steaming
