the strange thing about this election was just how right on most of the pundits were. if you look at their pre-election numbers most were all within 10 or 20 electoral votes. and plouff pretty much predicted exactly what would happen in the election.

David Plouffe is always impressive.

Like other core members of the Obama staff, such Dvaid Axelrod, Bill Burton, and Jon Carson, he is consistently calm, focused, and articulate.

As they are not policy people, they will not likely move to comparable positions in the White House. But they all speak well of Obama's ability to recruited appropriately skilled people for challenging work.
