  • hi..Did you design the radiator on the top as intake or exhaust?

  • Yo bro, what's up with an update vid?

  • nice job cramming it all in there but gotta say the setup sucks.could have easily avoided having to install the 240 radiator awkwardly, by 1) Researching that the EK radiator is to thick for this case 2) mounting a second 200mm radiator in the front of the case eliminating the need for 4 fans on the top radiator.. people who are calling this a nice build are clearly blind this looks crammed.a 600T can easily accommodate a 240 and a 200 radiator in the case without any modding with spare room..

  • if i knew maybe i wouldn't be watching this video... u know? u know what i mean u know?

  • nice setup dude im thinking of getting this case or the 650d and do an sli setup on a gtx 570 what do you think you think it will work ?

  • retard ? yes retard !!

  • @Beliyvadik asshole? yes asshole!!

  • @PCModderMike You ? yes you !!

  • @Beliyvadik Troll?? Yes you are!!

  • i highly recommend changing your loop so that instead you have the pump to the block then to the radiator or you're going to keep taking that heat from the cpu and having it go through the pump which will in turn lower its life.

  • @radicalphantom1 The way it's setup is how EK recommends it. Also the chances of extra heat have any adverse effect on the pump is highly unlikely, but even if it did it would be hard to notice as the pump will outlive pretty much all of the components either way.

  • @PCModderMike .you will eventually find out the hard way sorry to say. its basic understanding of cooling engineering, i mean take a car for example... would you take all the heat from the engine and the have that go through the pump?? or would you rather have the pump push the cooler coolant into the heat and the through the heat exchanger for cool down and then it repeats. sample principles apply, but whatever best of luck

  • @radicalphantom1 Thanks for your concern, but it will be just fine. But just to entertain your theory, even if there was a difference, let's say the way I'm doing the pump lasts 10 years, and if I change it to the way you're talking about, it last 11 years. Like I said, either way won't make a difference because it will be so far in the future this whole setup will be long gone and replaced by whatever current components are available at the time.

  • @radicalphantom1 Sorry but I'm going to trust the experts from EK rather than some random YouTube user, being you.

  • nice rig but try bitfenix cables those are really nice :)

  • @gangstanieborg Right

  • How much does something like this cost? Just curious because as a gamer... my shit is nothing near this, but I bet I can rip you apart in any fps game =]. Dope rig, but nothing I'll ever afford lol.

  • hey man , nice build , would it be possible to mount 2 140 mm fans on top , would that work for the push/pull ?

  • @vito670 two 140mm fans would not fit at the top, it barely fit the two 120mm fans lol

  • You remind me of Mark Wahlberg.

  • It's the pomp noisy? And the fan?

  • @TutorialsPcBlog The fans I'm using are not noisy. The pump, as long as it is mounted correctly is not noisy at all.

  • @PCModderMike Thank you :) can you tell me your temps on the cpu? it's OC'ed?

  • @TutorialsPcBlog Sorry for the late reply. The i7 920 stays at 4.0GHz, max temps are around 55 Celsius with an ambient temp of 25 Celsius.

  • I noticed that kid R3AP3R664 seems to be hating on everyone's rigs here on YouTube. He told me I had too much "piping" in my WC setup. Now he's telling you to replace yours with a H100. This troll is either bitter that he can't afford our setups or he really has NO clue what he's talking about. Out of my entire video, he pointed out my slightly bad cable management down near my PSU. LOL!!!!

  • @IIIIICRASHIIIII LOL, jeez some people just have too much time on their hands, and are bitter for no reason.

  • @PCModderMike I have no need to show people on youtube that i have a life and money to buy expensive materialistic shite (which i do often)

But just for the motherucker !!!!!!!CRASH!!!!!!! Ill upload a quick vid of my rig ...

  • @PCModderMike I really wanted to get one of these kits cause i absolutely hate the all in one kits that you can get from coolit antec and corsair but I am curious as to what are your thoughts on the h100? for 100$ would it be worth it for a cpu cooler. or is it better to fork out another 100$ for a real liquid cooling kit. I have a 2500k and want to overclock to 4.5 ghz apparently you can off the stock cpu cooler but i wanted to go for a better cooler. What do you think?

  • you could try bitfenix alchemy ext. cables they look to have a high quality cable.

  • @2point6x4 Radiators always perform better in a push/pull configuration with fans on the bottom and the top. And the radiator perform just fine being mounted at the top, and pulling air from inside the case to the outside. Trust me I've been through many different configurations since this video was posted, ie pulling air from inside the case to the outside, vice versa, externally mounted radiator with a koolance bracket, and it all performs good.

  • @PCModderMike the point is the radiator is too cool down the water before it returns to the CPU, so why would you want the warm inside air go out through the radiator?

  • @2point6x4 Why did you remove your first comment? The point of this video was to show people what I went through installing this EK kit as it came in the box, with no modifications to the chassis of the case. I'm not saying there aren't better ways to install the kit, or run a water cooling loop, like I said I've played around with several different configurations over the past few months. But I did a review of this EK kit in a previous video, and I wanted to show people the simplest way...

  • @2point6x4 Simplest way to take the components out of the box and install it in your case. Any case too, not just a 600t, because most cases are designed just like this. With a front intake fan, a rear exhaust fan, and fan mounts at the top, and most cases only have support for a radiator at the top.

  • @2point6x4 Using the fans as an intake or exhaust in this situation really made no difference.

  • @PCModderMike by the way You do have nice looking PC though! : )

I have a antec 900 case but I would like to get this corsair case.

  • @2point6x4 Thanks man! It's been fun to work with so far, just wish it was better suited for water cooling, but what can ya expect from a mid tower.

  • @PCModderMike yeah I can see what you mean about trying to find a good place to fit that radiator in a mid tower.

  • Why not get the 800D, it's a full tower case and it's design for watercooling.

  • @iama842 Just wasn't in my budget when I was putting components together. Plus everyone does the 800D. I need to upload an updated video, I've been able to squeeze in a 360 rad at the top and a 240 at the front, its been fun working with the 600T.

  • @PCModderMike

Would love to see that setup :)

I'm thinking of doing the same setup, but I'm just not sure how it will all fit.

  • get rid of that water cooling kit and get yoruself a Corsair H100

  • @R3AP3R664 LOL that's a good one, thanks I needed a good laugh.

  • @R3AP3R664

haha you make laugh, really really nice joke XD

  • which do you think will cool a i7 2600k processor better? This EK cooling system or a H100 Corsair cooling system. I'm using a 600t white corsair case.

  • @bullsnake505 The H100 is easier to install and cheaper, but a custom water loop will perform better.

  • @PCModderMike ok i don't care too much about easy install. where did you get your EK kit?

  • @bullsnake505 I got it from FrozenCPU, but there are some other sellers like Dazmode.

  • ONE WORD : WOOW!

  • How hard was it to install the radiator, did you just have to screw through the grating or did you actually have to drill it?

  • OK! I have this kit in my shelf and waiting for work, the problem whas CHASSIS, so watched lots of videos, wanted to do in 600T white, but NO. I will do it FD Arc MidTower!

  • @caalis2k OK! Good luck!

  • Nice videoquality! The tubbing on the back looks a little scary...

  • Hey, what sort of temps are you getting with this system installed? Better, worse or on par with your air cooling?

  • @Cerhob Better, about a 15-20 degree drop compared to a high end air cooler.

  • @PCModderMike Oh wow. That is a difference. Thanks for the reply. Love the video and your system looks great.

  • BITTER BEER FACE!!!!

  • @LordJummy Hahaha

  • @PCModderMike hehe sorry it really reminded me of those old commercials. classic...

Oh rig looks great btw. I put the 360 advanced HF kit in my 800D. I opted for white tygon tubing though, because it just looks oh so good in my case.

  • I had to remove the plastic supports from mine too! Corsair clearly never actually installed and turned on a pc with a 240mm rad in it!

  • plz help can u tell me which water cooler works with gtx 580 hydro copper

  • I couldn't fit the two fans underneath the radiator in my 600T case...

  • @NostalgicLink Yea neither could I, until I moved the radiator towards the side panel away from the motherboard. I couldn't mount it in it's default location, I explain the details in the video, about half way in.

  • @PCModderMike no offence but when you said your upgrading to the sandy bridge e your just wasting money just saying

  • @MrJokertime1 Are you serious, do you even do any kind of research before posting a nonsense comment like that? X58, what I'm currently on, is over 2 years old now. Yes it still performs great, but when socket 2011/X79 is released it going to perform much better, and so would be worth the money to a certain extent. Even the current 1155 socket with the 2500k/2600k is on par and performs better in certain situations than X58. If you had said it's not worth the money to switch from 1366 to 1155...

  • @MrJokertime1 ...I would have totally agreed with you, because they perform almost the same, especially in gaming. BUT...you said Sandy Bridge E, otherwise known as X79 platform. Which is going to be a beast, and will not only give better performance in gaming...but video encoding or photo editing, anything processor intensive will be a big improvement. So if you need that power, then it will definitely be worth your money, and you WILL NOT be wasting it.

  • @PCModderMike sorry i wasnt trying to be a troll i just thought of waiting for ivy bridge e or the successor i do enjoy your content but if your going for sandy bridge e i recommend the i7 3930k best one for the money

  • @MrJokertime1 No no it's ok, no offense taken. I think we're a little confused here haha. If Sandy Bridge E is still using 1155 socket...then that's not what I'm referring to. If Ivy Bridge is also what is known as X79/socket 2011, then yes that would be a switch I would want to make.

  • @PCModderMike would you recommend the 600t for a water cooling gaming pc

  • @MrJokertime1 If you are prepared to do some modding to the case, and aren't afraid to do that, then yea it's good for water cooling.

  • do you think H100 will fit? :)

  • @CryaX350 Yea the H100 is made to fit, the radiator is much thinner.

  • wow i just looked up the 600T graphite with a side view side panel is $129.99 on amazon.. sighhhh sooo tempting.. lol

  • i want this case for push pull, and your setup is nice. but my 690II gets the job done just the same, and it's more than $50 cheaper. but if i had more money back then, i would have a corsair case.. =D

  • i want this case for push pull, and your setup is nice. but my 690II gets the job done just the same, and it's more than $50 cheaper. but if i had more money back then, i would have a corsair case..

  • What if you put a slim radiator in there instead? Would it still get in the way of the motherboard heatsinks?

  • @zeewolsk A slim radiator such as a Black Ice GT Stealth would fit much better and not be in the way of hitting the motherboard.

  • Subscibed i can't believe this is the first time i seen ya vids. nice stuff bro love ya case. got the phantom myself.

  • @thefuzz1669 Awesome thanks for the sub.

  • What is the name of those LED backplates on your GPUs?

  • @Beliathon That's a built in feature of the Gigabyte GTX 570 Super Overclock. Kind of like a troubleshooting feature, green is good, no lights something is wrong.

  • use the bitfenix alchemy cables

  • @doasindefinitely Yea I wanted those, could not find them anywhere when I did the build though.

  • @PCModderMike if u live in canada i could tell u where to get them but ur in the US so i cant help u lol

  • @doasindefinitely :( haha thanks though. I switched to an AX850 anyway, so it's better since the cables are all blacked out.

  • @PCModderMike good choice! i also have the 600t in white but i went with the NZXT Hale90 850 since its white and it has flat flexible cables. its really nice :)

  • @doasindefinitely Oh wow white cables huh? I'm gonna take a look at that. But yea I like the flat cable type, just gives a cleaner look.

  • @PCModderMike White psu, the cables are black.

  • @doasindefinitely Oh my mistake, kind of sounded like you were talking about the cables.

  • @PCModderMike but yeah they are hard to find

  • will this fit with the antec lan boy or nzxt phantom?

  • @TehEpiczBanana I would go good inside the Phantom....but I don't really thing the LAN Boy was really designed for water cooling.

  • could you possibly add radiator fluid to it instead of water

  • @MrRoboman333 I've heard of some guys mixing in a little with the water. I'm not familiar with it though, and don't wanna try it, I'll just stick with distilled water like EK recommends.

  • Thanks for the vid! I've been thinking of getting my feet wet as well and the EK complete kit is the one I've been looking at. I am after a quiet system and from what I understand this could be the way! Nice system btw :-)

  • What is the temp now with this EK kit compared with Silver Arrow ?

  • @nklim84 Silver Arrow - i7 920 @ 4.0GHz = 75 Celsius under load.

    EK water cooling - i7 920 @ 4.0GHz = 60 Celsius under load.

Also my chip is very voltage hungry, requires a lot to get stable just at 4.0GHz, so my temps are higher than average.

  • Probably the xspc rasta 750 will fit better by consequent look better , also bitfinix has some nice extensions hopefully they would work ;D take a look at timetolivecustoms channel to get watercooling tips & ideas ;D

by the way what happend with the other 2 570´s ? the gigabyte cooler was better than the accelero?

  • wow your video cards have lots of LEDs

  • Great video dude....but you should cut the tubing a little shorter to improve the water flow...

  • Great video dude....but you should cut the tubing a little shorter to improve the water flow...

  • What is the degrease?!

  • im using Modright extensions in my rig, havn't had any problems yet. that sux

  • @AgentHydra Yea I've been able to narrow the problem down to my PSU, cable extensions are ok.

  • A dual pump/reservoir being slotted into one of the optical bays would be an ideal solution?

  • @rofldongs Yea a pump/res combo would be great for this case. I wanted to install the kit as is out of the box first, now I've got some different stuff to change it up, including a 5.25 reservoir.

  • @PCModderMike XSPC and Koolance make some pretty cool pump/res, pricey though. Good luck with it man.

  • @rofldongs Cool I'm looking into those, thanks man.

  • Around how much did you pay for the cooling, and if you can, can you tell me where did you get it from? Thank you.

  • @CrAzY4n00Bs The kit is about $250...and I got it from FrozenCPU.

  • you did well considering the minor set backs you had. You should invest in some rotary adapters (45*/90*), it will make your tubes flow better and you can shorten them, eleminating tight bends and kinks. Well done!

  • @abshassan Thanks mate! Already had some stuff come in today to improve the loop...I think we had talked about Primochill not too long ago, that's part of it.

  • What kind of graphics issues were you getting when using those Modright PCI Cable extensions? Just curious...

  • @Dechomai I've been able to narrow the problem down to the power supply. You can recreate the problem I was having by unplugging the PCI power connectors from one of your 570's, but leaving it plugged into the motherboard. If you turn on your computer with it like that, you should notice the fans on the 570 ramp up to full speed because it's still receiving some power through the PCIe slot, but it will not be usable (this applies to any video card btw). Continued....

  • @PCModderMike Boss walked in, lost where I was at! lol....so I also thought for a sec maybe the PCIe slots on the motherboard were going bad, but I ruled that out by using an older video card that doesn't require power from the PSU and it worked as it should, in every slot. So it seems like I'm just getting intermittent power issues from the power supply, like sometimes it will work as it should, but other times it stops giving power to one of the cards.

  • @Dechomai To get it working again I'll unplug the cables from the power supply and then re-seat them and restart the computer and then finally the cards will power on right.

  • @PCModderMike OK...thanks!

  • Awesome setup there Mike, nicely complemented with 570soc sli ;)

  • @TheStevo2156 Thanks man!

  • Wow...sorry about all the pain you went through. Hopefully your temps have improved after all that.

  • @Dechomai Absolutely, very pleased with the improvement. That's why I said at the end, in spite of the hurdles I had, I am very impressed.

  • Wheres my Corona? Maybe next time at hooters? lol! You know the FractalDesign Arc Midi's top mount for the radiator is slightly towerds the window, Just like your mount. But no modification needed and no clearance issues. Nice mode though. I wasn't all about the external res., but the more i see your case, the more I like it. I prefer to keep everything in the case though, but that's just my opinion. And wrong screws at 12 in the morn. Eff That!! Anyway, Looks good man! Now lets see those temps!

  • @mironccr345 Next time bro, at Hooter's. So does that mean you're gonna get the Fractal Design case?? We'll see how it goes when you try stuffing a 360 rad inside your RV02, you might start thinking "outside the case" too. lol Anyway thanks dude!

  • nice fan change on the top, the noctua fans did look a little bit weird inside ^^

  • @pointblack1000 Haha yea that's what I thought, didn't look right on the radiator.

  • lovely build.

  • @CerealzTheDude Thanks, how lovely of you to say so haha. Why was you comment flagged as spam?? O__o

  • Why do all these watercooling kits come with some cheap tubing when you paying big and top dollars for the best?... I hate it when you have to send an extra 20.00 dollars for tubing, but another point I would like to point out is that it isn't FrozenCPU fault, it's EK, It's been said that EK at time or on the web , people had the same issue as well so don't feel down about it.. EK and their nickel plate issue and now wrong parts?

  • @keiki646 Haha I'm not down about it. You're right though, to be paying good $ for a high end kit, there should be no problems with it. I've already decided to order better tubing, and yep it's over $20. The wrong screws thing was just weird, that really threw me off. And yea the nickel plate issue has really put a dent in EK's production, but they will recover from it, and they have stated on their website, if anyone has any problems, it will be replaced with no hassle.
