  • 7:22, GOOD RECOVERY....

  • I'm glad you posted these because alot of younger players see Hendry playing today at 40 and think that he never played at the standard of todays top players. Jimmy White was in his prime here at age 30 and yet cracked under the pressure. Yes he's a cool guy and can spin the ball and shoot hard and this looks impressive to novice's but the reason he had to play those amazing shots is because he was out of position! Add in a few pots missed and you lose against Hendry. CONSISTANCY UNDER PRESSURE.

  • @phdgraffiti NO THEY DONT...IM YOUNG N WE ALL KNOW HOW MUCH OF A LEGEND HE IS!!!

  • R.I.P David.

  • 3:49

  • At 14-8, Hendry was beaten and White knew this. Hendry needed a life-line and White provided it by missing so many chances at frame ball, time and time again. Once Hendry's confidence was restored White had big problems.

  • stirling moss never won the world crown and he is still regarded as one of the true racing greats.... same goes for jimmy white

  • Yeah but Stirling Moss never choked against Fangio - Fangio was simply better in F1 cars. He was genuinely unlucky. Moss beat every other teammate he ever had, and his car let him down. On the rare occasion that his car was good enough, he got bad luck. Jimmy White bottled most of his chances against Hendry - Hendry wasn't better talentwise. If anything, Jimmy had slightly more talent than Hendry, but Hendry had a lot more bottle. Fangio was more talented than Moss.

  • so amazing to watch great players play this game!

  • i agree with you there scoocle. it's just a shame that such a entertainer and gentleman like Jimmy White did not beat him just once to win the world championship. But that's Hendry for you. Guts and determination.

  • It wasn't Hendry's guts and determination that won him this match. He won because Jimmy bottled it.

  • @WhoLueYou hendry was one of the greatest players when in a tight or impossible situation, i think 3 century breaks in those 10 consective frames proves my point.

  • this is why he is a champion.

  • hendrys a fuckin legend

the greatest ambassader for this game

  • A lot of confidence for this yellow ball. Scottish spirit!
