  • Microsoft has no taste and culture cause it's run by an idiot. Steve was gentle to say it.

  • WOW, Ballmer looks very like as he does in Pirates of Silliconvalley

  • Seriously who the f**k made that i***t CEO of Microsoft?

  • @MrIrascor Pretty much his friend Bill Gates and the rest of the board of Microsoft.

  • If any body though white people were smart...after watching the videos of Steve Ballmer, they might though looking at white people in a different way.

  • ist he died?

  • Microsoft's real 'end customer' is corporate enterprise, so of course their priority isn't aesthetic. It's also why they can't move quickly in a changing market - legacy support is a millstone Apple have rejected.

  • ... and now he's dead.

  • microsoft has no taste. cause their not an apple!

  • Steve Ballmer working hard really to finish off what bill gates started. Ruining Technology.

  • this is from a cbs documentary called "triumph of the nerds"

  • @mah0aga PBS. Not CBS.

  • true fact

  • he died? really? when?

  • @EnkyNakamura October 5, 2011. It was literally all over the news for like a week haha where've you been my friend? =)

  • Thumbs up if you bought iPhone 4S in memory of Steve Jobs :)

  • @iNiyant i just lost hope in humanity

  • @BOZ11 What's wrong bro? :/

  • @iNiyant He wasn't such a nice man. He consistently took more than 50% of the proceeds from the early Apple ventures with Steve Wozniak, his friend and partner. Wozniak was the brains of the operation and developed, designed and built the Apple I & Apple II. Jobs was basically a marketing man skimming from his partner; Jobs was credited with the invention of the GUI and mouse, neither of which came from Apple and especially not Steve Jobs. HP and Douglas Engelbert invented them respectively

  • @BOZ11 Omg I don't know about that ! That's why I always say "Bill Gates is awesome" :D I'm just going to purchase a film called 'pirates of the silver valley' ... I heard that it was based on steve & bill :D

  • When was this?

  • @Bushmann444 1996

  • Steve Jobs never touched an Xbox 360, the interface is the best. RROD was the only 3rd rate thing about it but slim fixed that.

  • Microsoft success plan is this. Hang around other companies and see what they are doing, then copy it or buy it. Then tell people you did it. There you have the secret to Microsoft being successful.

  • @WizzRacing Apple copy things alot. They just make not so popular products popular by redefining them. I never new a needed a smart phone until Apple turned something that was for the business man into a mass consumer product. Same with tablets.

  • @itsinmybones Apple never copied anything. You better go and check Xerox. They invited Steve to come and see what they had. They ended up selling then the right to the GUI and Apple did the rest. If you go and look at Star it was very crude and only useful for document companies. But nice try at making shit up again.

  • @WizzRacing "But nice try at making shit up again" lol? No apple invented the smart phone, the tablet, the mp3 player, the computer and windowed operating system. Apple never invented a lot of thier most successful products they just redefined them or brought them out. Stop talking crap mate "they never copied anything" lol Don't be so blind in your fanboyism. All companies copy, steal and buy ideas, its the application of the idea that matters.

  • @itsinmybones You idiot, tell me who had a touch screen phone? Or how about applications designed to run on them that the phone companies would allow to run on the network. Who invented the Video\Audio MP3 player that could run also on a wireless network. Nobody had anything close to that till Apple did it. You better go look around just what Apple did in the last 10 years. I will not even mention iTunes dragging the music industry by their knuckles into the 21st century!

  • @WizzRacing Google 1st ever touch screens phones. They were around way before the apple iphone. So were smart phones, remember window me phones? aimed solely at the business market as were tablets. I said mp3 players were not invented by apple and nothing about wireless networks. Don't call me an idiot. I said apple redefined the products and not invented them and what I said was true. I never said apple did not revolutionise the industries with them. Chill out your just being a blind fan boy.

  • @itsinmybones You're an idiot. You remember the Apple Newton? The first PDA with networking functions and touch screen in 1987. The cell phone in those days was a bag with a 25Ib battery on it. All it did was make a call or receive one. So don't tell me what Apple was the first to do. They were light years ahead of anybody else.

  • @WizzRacing Not a touch screen phone and a pda with networking functions is not a tablet either. Your an idiot by definition. Your definition of an idiot is someone who makes factual claims? Which you dismiss by ignoring them and spewing out new bullshit claims with little or no relation to the subject. There where touch screen phones prior to iphone (fact) as I said. The original iphone came out in 2007. Nothing I said was an attack on apple or the ramblings of an idiot like yourself. All fact.

  • @itsinmybones You idiot I just showed you the Newton "1987" and you refuse to even see it. Now go back to you're windows gaming experience. You don't even own a Mac and you want to tell me how it works. Get lost!

  • @WizzRacing Cock! I'm mac so don't make presumptions. I'm just not a blind fanboy who thinks apple invented everything.

  • @itsinmybones You're damn idiot is what you are. You're a mac, Its Mac you retard! You can't even put up a dissent argument on the subject. Hell at least say something that Microsoft has done after Windows 95 that even come close to Apple's marketing team in the last 10 year's.

Face it Apple stomped Microsoft with it's family of products, That interconnect and are fun to use. All Microsoft has is software to sell and that is limited to Office and Windows, big deal!

  • @WizzRacing Face what? Your a pent up little angry defender of the Apple fanboy tribe. Grow up. "Macs" are great but that doesn't mean you have to go around defending them with fanboy clouded judgements and ignore facts that are presented to you because you don't like them. Their just another corporation after your cash. Your arguments have been weak and off track and your clutching at straws by attacking my grammar. Why get so pent up and angry over factual comments that you don't like?

  • @itsinmybones I love my Apple products, but I'm also educated on them too. Without Microsoft there'd be no Apple. If I remember correctly they made a $150 Million investment saving Apple from a sure failure. Both companies are great, both have great products (I own an XBOX) and I completely agree with you. It's morons like WizzRacing who make the Apple community look terrible haha I used to be like him, but then I realized technology is always going to be in our lives. So we need both companies!

  • @whitewhale1000 Exactly. I should never have really allowed myself to have a pointless debate with him (if you can call it that). I just couldn't understand what was getting him so wound up about my original comment that he felt the need to start insulting me. Seems any Apple or Android video on youtube has a bunch of fanboys! from both camps/tribes making mad claims and spewing out insults at each other. The human race is an inventive if still somewhat tribal species in many ways

  • @itsinmybones I hear you. Granted when I was narrow minded about this sort of thing, I was only in middle school! As a junior in high school now, it's all about what your preferences are. I love my MBP because it offers great battery life and its thin and light. But they are quite expensive and overpriced, no doubt. Windows laptops can offer just as much at a lower price, but I'm not much of a PC gamer, so the reliability of a Mac won me over. But I don't go around hating unlike some people! ;]

  • @WizzRacing Hey you gotta chill it with the pro Apple campaign. Yes, Apple has done a great job the last couple of years. Only a fool would deny that. Microsoft has done some great work too. What you are getting trying to prove to the whole world that Apple is better than Microsoft? Why can't you accept that both companies have made and are making great contributions and that technology WILL ALWAYS, ALWAYS be in our lives and the more companies we have enriching our lives, the better, yes?

  • @WizzRacing And if you think Apple is light years ahead of anyone else then you haven't seen this, have you? Apple or Microsoft, Windows or Mac, you cannot call yourself a techie if you don't think this video shows a lot of innovation and aspiration! =] /watch?v=a6cNdhOKwi0

  • @whitewhale1000 I look at the market to see where people are putting their money. I'm not here to convert people or even agree with them. The fact is Microsoft had to invest in Apple to have any growth.

I know lots of people that claimed to be techie's that had to stop using Mac's because they could not adapt to doing something different. They simply gave up and went back to gaming all day. They didn't understand computing is more then gaming or customizing the look and calling it creative.

  • @WizzRacing Your comment makes absolutely NO sense. PCs still control 90% of the market, and yes Apple has been catching up. And gaming? You realize not everyone is a gamer right? Customization? You can customize any computer. And you think Microsoft absolutely HAD to invest into Apple? Steve Jobs (RIP) literally had to beg Bill Gates to keep Apple viable with a $150 million investment and a public pledge to support Office for Mac for five years, because Apple was on its deathbed at the time.

  • @whitewhale1000 Apple did not need Microsoft to invest in it to stay alive. I don't who comes up with this shit. You repeat something enough people start to believe its true. You have no clue what you just said, so I will leave it at that.

  • @WizzRacing

Watch the first 20 seconds of the video. The man himself. I know exactly what I'm talking about.

    /watch?v=WxOp5mBY9IY

  • @WizzRacing

And also go to 3:33 in that last comment video. You don't have to be so conceited about this, you know!

  • @whitewhale1000 You damn moron Apple had over 1 billion in cash on hand. They didn't need the cash. Microsoft was fixing to have congress file a monopoly laws suit at them. Now bet it!

  • @WizzRacing

Simply because they had $1 Billion dollars in the bank doesn't mean they were running fine. You can't run a company that spends more than it receives. The billion dollars is completely irrelevant. And please stop insulting me. I haven't insulted you once, let's try and be civil. You stated that "The fact is Microsoft had to invest in Apple to have any growth." And in another comment "Apple did not need Microsoft to invest in it to stay alive." You contradict yourself. (1/2)

  • @whitewhale1000 You idiot I just told you why Microsoft invested in Apple. Congress was investigating Microsoft at the time for antitrust and monopoly. They had been making Internet Explorer built into windows to knockout Netscape. In the end Microsoft used Apple to show the courts it was not. We all know you can't remove IE to start with or delete it, Its built into the O.S.

I know you think you seem to know why things were done. But I was around when all this was going on.

  • @WizzRacing @WizzRacing

None of your comments create a straight argument for yourself, and even when presented with full face evidence from the man himself, you ignore it. I don't think there's much left to be said here. Open up your eyes my friend. Not everything is at it seems. (2/2)

  • @whitewhale1000 Son I was around when most this shit happened and seen the industry grow from nothing. You have no clue about 90% of the shit he is even talking about. When you learn why thinks were done then you will know the truth.

Microsoft was not content to just be a application company. They lied to Bill Gates to get a look at the Mac GUI, Then stole from Apple the process to make it work. You might try and watch Triumph of the Nerds. You might get educated.

  • @whitewhale1000

"Steve Jobs (RIP) literally had to beg Bill Gates to keep Apple viable with a $150 million investment and a public pledge to support Office for Mac for five years, because Apple was on its deathbed at the time."

Incorrect. Jobs did not beg anyone. The $150 million was part of a settlement that Microsoft paid to Apple as part of lawsuit from when MS stole Quicktime code for use in Windows media player. Google: Apple vs. San Francisco Canyon company

  • @WizzRacing You fucking mactard. Apple didn't invent the GUI, Xerox did; Apple evolved it but they didnt invent it. Major fucking difference. Touch screen PDA's have been around since 1993 you dumb fuck, they just hadn't been popularised. Apple didn't invent a thing; they evolved these priorly existing products, but none of these things originated with them.

  • r.i.p but he is an asshole in this clip

  • stupid cunt. No taste? well bring out a product and set the price to 5 times higher than its worth => taste.. yeah

  • @Zagorec82 This is no taste:

    /watch?v=sforhbLiwLA

    /watch?v=_-8IufkbuD0

  • really what products?

  • Combine taste with functionality and you get brilliance.

  • Finally decent statements coming from the mouth of this man (Ballmer)!

  • "For the most part" thats right

  • Woaowoaow what did I just watch. I don't understand why there has to be this element of fighting (not even competitiveness) between Windows and Mac. I like both Operating Systems, they both are brilliant. Windows did catch up in the end, I personally like Windows 7 a lot. I also like Mac OSX Lion a lot. HOWEVER it was totally unnecessary for Steve Jobs to come out with "Microsoft have no taste". Both OS's have each other to thank for certain things, I just wish everyone would play ball.

  • @madjam002 This is from 1995, before Steve went back to Apple. Frankly, the comment at that time was fair and true - bear in mind MS had for the last 10 years been in bed with IBM building OS2/warp and other BS. It's also true that at Apple, the ideas for products come from the 'real world', like his example on proportionally spaced fonts, which he learned in calligraphy classes at Reed College. Microsoft's solutions are usually 'tech' solutions or engineering solutions. Not 'natural' ones.

  • if there wasnt Xerox there wouldnt be any products for Apple either.

  • @LedZeppelinHK yea you right

  • @LedZeppelinHK Why don't you go ahead say that for every other computer that has a mouse or a GUI. I'm sure Apple and other manufactures would of succeeded without the concepts Xerox had imagined. Without Mr.Jobs though we might of not see the success of the mouse or GUI until much later.

  • @LedZeppelinHK If there wasn't Xerox, they won't be any pc either...

  • @LedZeppelinHK And there would not be any Graphical User Interface. Not only Mac but Windows, which is the copy of Apples copy of Xerox's innovation

  • @LedZeppelinHK

Yeah, and if there weren't alphabet there would be no word "product".

Xerox had some raw ideas they really didn't know what to do with, let alone thought they're useless. Apple took risk, implemented those ideas into actual commercial product and brought them to life.

Microsoft then copied commercially proven successful Apple's products.

Do you see the difference, professor?

  • I believe !

  • 0:41 "I am saddened, not by Microsoft's success, I have no problem with their success, they've earned their success, [under his breathe] for the most part." lol! Best backhanded compliment ever. lol! I love it!

  • Yes steve jobs, youre right, the windows are pretty ugly and such, but you know what? it does what has too be done, and dont cost us with less money a fortune.

  • @MessageWarning

    Shut the Fuck Up.

  • mac is so much more expensive. buy a sony or toshiba and you will get quite a good life on it.

  • @TickleMehNancy Can anybody else trust a comment with rampant grammatical errors?

  • @MrLukeroberts91 You wrote in one video: Atheists DO NOT assume that god does not exist, we believe that THEIR is not a shred of evidence fr.....

You don't even know how to use the correct version of THERE lmfao...

  • @MrLukeroberts91 I can. So shut the fuck up you NERD!

  • Argentine people woke up sad this morning

I have seen tears in the eyes of my little sister when I told her that the man who invented the iPad has died

Has increased in tears when I told her his story

My mother said: Steve Jobs went and went with him half creativity

    My uncle said:

I hated America because of George Bush, and I loved because of Steve Jobs

    I say:

Jobs died and his mind still work

  • @3essi I swear i saw the EXACT same comment a few hours ago. Unless you're the same person, stop trying to copy people's comments to get thumbs up, and come up with something original and from the heart if you want to respect Steve Jobs.

  • RIP, Steve Jobs

  • Honestly speaking... i have nothing against mac but Steve Jobs really is kinda slow... and his argument was pretty weak, no examples, no anything. Poor guy :p

  • @tonnysandoval7 Did you miss fonts in computers as an example?

  • @ribaldi ack... your right, i did miss that, but it is still weak, like, lets just buy a mac cause there fonts are prettier? c'mon... And he was kinda slow in this video... he can do better, I know that.

  • @tonnysandoval7 Fonts is an example of digitizing from the analog world. I'm sure you can think of other examples.

Job did do better. This was from 1996. A year later he returned to Apple. Guess what happened since then.

  • Microsoft needs Bill Gates back!

  • STEVE JOBS OWNS A PC!

  • cmon ppl microsoft never had taste ... sure jobs is a huge asshole anyway ... try to use bigger fonts on windows 95, xp, 7 and you will see why they have no taste ... they never had ... because that fags dont know how the GUI have to look or have it have to be scaled

  • "I have no problem with their success..." sure...

  • why is steve jobs such an asshole??? really??? like he is just jealous that he isnt the wealthiest man on earth like Bill Gates... Bill Gates is so much of a better person. He has a foundation he donates billions of dollars to charity. and most of you dont know this but he helped steve jobs in his time of need and gave him some money.. yet steve jobs is sitting here saying windows isnt classy????? steve jobs isnt classy and he makes shitty computers

  • @MYTxRUNE9988 That's not what the rest of the world thinks. And Bill didn't give any money to Steve. Microsoft was forced to settle with Apple in 1997 because they've got caught using QuickTime code in Window Media Player. Search San Francisco Canyon Company for details.

  • @ribaldi lies and innuendo and were it even true, litigation costs would have bankrupted and killed Apple.

The truth is that Microsoft saw the benefit of partnering with Apple rather than engaging in destructive litigation. The patent settlement was beneficial to both companies but Microsoft did not enter it under legal implication, Microsoft entered it in order to gain a partner and Microsoft ultimately gained it wanted; A dominant share of the Internet browser market.

  • @TheLAKERSareGodsTeam Do a search of "San Francisco Canyon Company" for details. If you have evidence of lies and innuendo attributed to the resulting articles, please provide counter evidence in search string form. It would be an interesting read.

  • @ribaldi What the fuck is "counter evidence"? I'm not refuting that Apple was threatening Microsoft with a lawsuit, but I am saying that Apple didn't have the money to wage a long court battle with Microsoft.

Microsoft could have litigated Apple into the GRAVE. We all know it, even Steve Jobs knew it when he said "Relationships that are destructive aren't helpful to anyone in this industry as it is today".

Apple owes it existence to Microsoft in more ways than one.

  • @TheLAKERSareGodsTeam Google "counter-evidence" for definition.

What did you mean by "lies and innuendo" if you're not refuting that Apple was threatening Microsoft with a lawsuit? BTW - it wasn't a threat. The law suit was filed and lasted 2 years before settlement.

Regardless of Microsoft's ability to out spend Apple in litigation, are you implying this law suit was really nothing substantial in bringing Microsoft into a settlement deal with Apple?

    How does Apple owe Microsoft?

  • @ribaldi "Google" for a definition? Dear child, you live on the internet. Visit a library once in a while, you'll find some amazing shit in there.

  • @TheLAKERSareGodsTeam You're being presumptuous on a minor point. Regardless, the main points were:

What did you mean by "lies and innuendo" if you're not refuting that "Apple was threatening Microsoft with a lawsuit"? It was beyond a threat. Suit was filed with initial judgment complied by Microsoft.

Are you implying this law suit was really nothing substantial in bringing Microsoft into a settlement deal with Apple?

    How does Apple owe Microsoft?

  • @ribaldi It's good to see you retreat on your original point and attempt to hide behind legal trivia.

And yes, Apple threatened Microsoft with a lawsuit. The lawsuit that Apple was threatening was broad but largely centered on 'the precious' look and feel, the quicktime shit was ancillary to Apple's primary motive.

And Apple chickened out and basically sold the 'look and feel' case to top bidder, Microsoft for $150 million.

  • @TheLAKERSareGodsTeam Judge ordered Microsoft to remove the infringing code and Microsoft complied. But the damaged was already done. Microsoft had illegally distributed Apple's code. There was liability unlike the look and feel case which Apple lost and had zero leverage to use against Microsoft. The QuickTime infringement case made Microsoft liable and it's not trivial. It gave Apple leverage to force Microsoft to a settlement.

BTW - How did you think up a law suit can be sold to bidders?

  • @ribaldi If you have a case and you believe in your case, why not follow suit? Unless you feel (as Apple probably did) that you do not have a case at all. In that case you could settle if Microsoft was willing to buy.

I don't understand how you make the jump from "leverage a settlement" to "force a settlement". I suppose that make sense in the life of a magical thinking Apple fanboy, but in the real world force means force and leverage means leverage.

  • @TheLAKERSareGodsTeam When you have leverage over someone, you can use it to force something out of them. I assume you can understand this without me breaking it down for you.

But you might want to explain why anyone would bid for a law suit with what you've written here:

"And Apple chickened out and basically sold the 'look and feel' case to top bidder, Microsoft for $150 million."

What could possibly compel anyone, least of all Microsoft, to bid for a law suit and pay what is owed?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheLAKERSareGodsTeam If there were no case at all, why did Microsoft settle? Oh right, Microsoft was bidding for law suits. LOL!!!

  • I'm watching this on Windows XP in Internet Explorer, I have an Android phone, and I believe everything Steve Jobs said and I still think Steve Ballmer is a moron.

  • Why IE, why? Why are you doing this to yourself? :)

  • @dhinge XP was brilliant for its time, sublime accessability, but today too slow and a bit too buggy. IE suck balls all of them, and every windows besides XP is shit because they are all too bloated. Haven't tried any windows phone. and never will. Future is in Googles and Apples hands. Microsoft is a zoombie company with a low-IQ chimpanse as a CEO. Microsoft died when BG left the company.

  • Steve Jobs needs a new liver.

  • Just you watch... Windows 98! Windows XP! Windows Vista! Linux!

  • Classic Ballmer, blame someone else...

  • 0:11 *buffering*

  • @papersplease hahahahahahahah U right

  • apple is for eating.

  • i think now this is a real lack of focus as Windows tries to enter the mobile post pc age. wake up mr ballmer, your on a track to become what IBM became...obselete.

  • @formattester6 They should have not left that space open for Android.

  • @ribaldi yep. i dont think they saw any of this coming. this whole mobile things now is moving really fast and Microsoft seems like they still dont get whats happening. Ballmer still living in the hay days of Windows. im not a fan of Microsoft and have been a big Macintosh user but id hate to see Microsoft fall off the planet and just leave it to google and apple. too few is not good IMO so i wish Microsoft would get with the program a bit.

  • @formattester6 Microsoft will be around for a long time to come. The only problem they face is if they can break into newer markets that earns profits comparable to Windows and Office. If not, they are still making about $23 billion dollars profit per year with Windows and Office.

  • @formattester6 I wouldn't mind Microsoft loosing big time for a change. And it would be even better, if it was Google that beat them. Nothing big - just like taking 50% of every market Microsoft own. And the very best - would be the news that Steve Balmer had been fired without any pension. That man is dangerous and unstable.

  • @MsPwain In this economy, I'd rather not see anyone losing at all.

  • @ribaldi Of course. I just think that Microsoft needs to _some time_ learn something about being the small one. It's a very important lesson for every monopoly. Keeping them from thinking they are ruling the world - which they are not and should not be.

  • @MsPwain Well, if it's any consolation to you, Microsoft's market share in MP3 players disappeared. Their Mobile division suffers negative growth. They are 2nd in search-ad business by a long way. I think this helped keep them humble in the industry since no one is listening to their game plans - much. Hopefully, this gives them a chance to do something great later without the bullying attitude they had in the 90s.

  • @ribaldi That's what I want. To keep them humble. Not to get them totally down, but to keep them humble. They have done wonderfull things - in the past - so long they had competition, but soon as they got monopoly they stopped everything, and it hurted the users and it hurted the industry. This must never ever happen again.

  • developers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey Ballmer, we are still waiting.

  • "They don't think of original idea's" coming from the shithead that stole the mouse from xerox...

  • @deecheezy He didn't stole, they sold it to him. The only people that think it was stolen were the engineers that made it and like it, but the company management didn't have a clue that it was a technology with a bright future.

  • @autunn0 If you could give me a source for that I would appreciate it because I was always told he stole the idea.

  • @deecheezy Doug Engelbart owned the patent on the mouse because he invented it in late 1960s. Apple licensed the mouse from him.

  • Have no taste??? Microsoft DOESN'T even know what TASTE means

  • THere is simply no logical way one can compare a 'Dell' product to an Apple product. They are light years apart in engineering and component quality, longevity and customer satisfaction. We buy thousands of dells and Macs, and trust me, the number of Dells DOA from the factory is at LEAST an order of magnitude higher than Apple. Dell is junk, plain and simple. HP, worse.

  • @sina4 youre an idiot. my HP envy is a unibody construction of magnesium, looks better than any macbook, and runs a better OS. enjoy no games and shitty iworks.

  • @LightCan you installed *nix on your hp?

  • @LightCan Do you mean the HP Envy which is a carbon copy of a Macbook Pro, just less elegant in every respect?

  • @evilpatrickshannon hp envy is not a carbon copy, its more elegant. magnesium feels better to the touch than aluminum or plastic macbooks. enjoy the shitty white color that gets dirty easily and looks like shit

  • @sina4

Now, we all know that Apple's computer market share is smaller, due to higher price of entry, etc.

You know why it costs more, lasts longer, and does a better job? Details. Details, kids, are what makes Apple king. For example, when I opened my MacBook Pro (2007) last month to clean out the fans, etc, the hard drive was enclosed by aluminum brackets. Actually, it might have even been magnesium. Holy shit! That's not how my HP was! I was a windows guy from ages 7-23. Fuck windows.

  • @ORUPRANKSTAZ Exactly, maybe that's why Apple haters are so damn bitter. I can honestly say that since I've started using Apple products (around 2 years now), I have experienced none of the issues I had in the MS world. They simply make a better product and charge as such. If MS starts blowing Apple out of the water I'd gladly switch back, problem is I just don't see that happening. Windows 8 looks as though they took iOS and tried to combine it with Windows. Come on MS, man up.

  • @sina4 Light years away in component quality? 90% of the components in Dell and Apple are the same. I'm not a Dell fanboy, but I don't like it, when the truth isn't told.

  • @sina4 just like windows go mac

  • @sina4 if you compare one product to another, you should also take into account the price. I can buy 2 HPs for the price of one mac.

  • @kraskata2012 and you will buy 4 HP's before my 1 Mac will get old.

  • @NIHILANS not true, cause technology changes very rapidly

  • @sina4 Dell products are also more than an order of magnitude cheaper than macs. I happen to own both a Mac and a Dell PC. My PC is from 2004, and I've never had any significant problems with it (although admittedly it is starting to show its age). I haven't had any problems with my Mac (other than compatibility), but honestly, my 2004 PC running Windows XP is much more useful. I can however agree with you on one thing, HP is junk, plain and simple.

  • @sina4 whats more expensive?

  • @sina4 hahahahahaha

  • @sina4 Apple makes great products and everything, but my iMac bought back in 2006 didn't last as long as it should. It has something to do with Apple not recalling (that I know of) the 17in LCD's used in the new intel macs. They used the same ones that had issues from the G5 iMac.

  • Windows 7 is a perfect product. I bought it the day it came out and still working fine. Apple is expensive and good. However, you can store your photos, videos and documents, surf internet and watch HD netflix, blue-ray on windows laptop by connecting it with hi-def TV via HDMI. It cost around 700 to 800.00$ for best quality. Apple will cost 2000.00$. Check your wants vs need. Just make sure to have good security software. Apple is good, for multimedia professionals.

  • @ripplejb I play all those same things on my TV from my macbook also... no additional fee, DVI to HDMI generic brand cable and I have 1080p out...

  • - 17" Dell Studio laptop top model price is 1299.99$. With best configuration this one cost 3139.96 with 16GB Ram, 3GB graphics card with TV Tuner etc are not available in Apple Mac book pro even with best configuration.

    - Similar 17" Mac Book pro price is 2499.99 and best configuration with few minor upgrades costs 3499.00.

Why one should buy Mac Book Pro over Dell Studio, just to watch Hi-Def movies here ?

  • Macs FTW

  • Windows 98 is better than 7 !!!

    Fast as before !!!

  • Windows 98 is better than 7 !!!

  • So the Mac's big contribution to the PC is the font system? Steve thinks he is the only one who took typography? C'mon, it's silly to think this is a good example. If you want to talk about design, build quality and optimizing for specific hardware (so it feels like an end product) Apple is king of the hill, why use such a shitty example? Ballmer is much more realistic in his talk and he's got a good point in other videos: WHERE'S APPLE ENTERPRISE DIVISION?

  • @yanava Fonts is an example of digitizing an analog form into usable digital form. It lead to typography & graphic design going digital. Professional documents demands it. This is repeated many times in computing. Artwork, music, video, books, and eventually the majority of information we've used were originally in analog form. Even money has become digital. His point was to create new utility for the computer.

Apple is doing really well without enterprise. Check revenue, profit, market value.

  • 0:10 hahaha :D

  • One shit tries to throw some shit at another shit. Way to go.

  • 0:46 "I have no problem with their [Microsoft] success..." you say no problem, but your body language says otherwise.

  • I hope all of you one day see the light and switch to a GNU/Linux distribution.

  • Microsoft Rules.... Best for GAMING, OVERCLOCKING and everything else!!!

  • k i like i pods but PC IS THE BEST FOR HOME AND XBOX TO BUT THATS JUST ME

  • It's interesting to know that the so-called 3rd rated Microsoft products have dominated the PC market for so long, but seriously Apple is cool

  • You buy a mac for the logo on the back haha, balmer just gives you a powerfull device for the right price!!!

  • I think all the people who comment things like: "Mac sucks" are jealous because they have no future vision, are not creative and underdeveloped.

  • @godvandescheetjes developers developers developers developers

  • @godvandescheetjes i think people who comment about people that comment about macs sucking have no free thought and are brainwashed by mainstream culture to by something because of the brand name not because of what the product does or because its shiny.
