We'll see if that holds true when the last season comes out.
I personally am thinking the anime is better than the game. Played the game. Very fun combat and gameplay especially for its time. But most of the characters kinda suck and the plot has holes. I found out that the show was made On June 20, 2006, Namco announced an official OVA series for Tales of Symphonia. The four episodes were released in Japan on June 8, August 10, October 24, and December 21. They were directed by Haruo Tonosaki and featured character designs by Akira Matsushima
and the game was released in japan on August 29, 2003

@meepfeet Check out Tales of Symphonia " Season 2 " aka Tethe'alla-hen, it continues the story where it left from these first 4 episodes. Only 2 of those episodes has come yet but they plan to release all 4 of them i guess until the end of this summer/year. ( 2010 )
Google " Watch Tales of Symphonia: Tethe’alla-hen Online " and you'll find those episodes, and later on probaply the yet to income episodes.

Hmm...nice, but doesn't really qualify as an opening for me. In my opinion, openings should make you feel pumped up for the episode to come. This felt like ending music.
I have seen many animes and so many openings. I have to say this is one of the few very epic ones that gives you the chills even the third time watching it.

It actually moved me to tears. Not because of sadness,but because of the raw emotional purity that it emits. Wow. Yous should sooooo buy the game, but the anime is different like they skip certain parts, its nothing major, but its all character development. In any case ToS(tales of Symphonia) is a great Game and anime, filled with raw emotion, it taught me some great stuff, and you might learn something too.
I actually recently found the game in a bargain bin at Gamestop, and couldn't resist the opportunity to get it. For the first few hours into the game it seemed like a cheap rip-off of FFX (yes FFX did come first, I did do my research), but after that it began to evolve into what is one of the most amazing stories I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I'm currently at the part where Lloyd and the gang have to sneak into Meltokio though the sewers.
I hope you're still enjoying it ;) ToS is an amazing game.
I'm also a fan of it's sequel for the Wii, Dawn of the New World, which while being a bit different still has as incredible a story as Symphonia to tell us.
I finished it, I'm currently in my first replay and still loving it very much. I haven't gotten the chance to try out the sequel yet, but I would really like to some day.
@KayariOfMidnight Protip: By the end of the first or second playthrough, you should have enough Grade to buy the EXP Multiplier X10. Get it, because with the much higher levels you acquire from it, you can easily access dozens and dozens of sidequests, including the Sword Dancer battles for Lloyd's ultimate weapon. Best of all though, you can change Sylvarant's story order for the "Hard Path" of the game. PM me if you want to know more ;)

@SubaruOfTheTriad What you should try, is "Mania" difficulty without any "Grade" bonuses. Hardest game difficulty starting from scratch? Too fun
Still, the most epic fights in the game have to be:
1. Kratos: "Mania" Difficulty (Encounters I&II)
2. Sword Dancer III: "Mania" Difficulty
3. Zelos Wilder: "Mania" Difficulty
4. Meredy, Farah Oersted, & Garr Cameo Appearance Battle in Meltokio Coliseum: "Mania" Difficulty
5. Abyssion: "Mania" difficulty. EPIC fight even with entire party LVL 108.....

Yes... For some reason Raine's real name is Refill, but thank god the game developers changed it into Raine in Europe and America.

I like this opening, and love the anime, but hope that when the next series comes out the opening has a bit more movement/action XD
