  • Pino Palladino or Rocco Prestia? Once again, as for Cliff Burton, I've never heard him play a single bassline.

  • what song of tool is it?

  • @frigoacdc The Pot

  • onee of the worstt bass songs by red hot!!! why cant you choose better songs like coffee shop, get up and jump or higher ground??!!

  • flaviooooooooo!!!!

  • The onions on this video are good compared to many others sometimes I dont know if people are joking around or if they are really their favorite bass players

  • Are you kidding? cliff burton is not even top 20!!!!!!!

  • Can at least one of these lists have TESTAMENT!!!!

  • #1 is not the best. Claypool was robbed. Saw Tool on July 4th, he's very good but not the best

  • Geddy Lee only 7, are you kidding. He wasplaying bass better than almost every new bassists out there while playing 'piano' AND singing.

  • Why did you play Court of the Crimson King On Trey Gunn's number? Greg Lake plays bass on that track.

  • @thecrimsonfloyd oopss i didnt know that

  • Cliff Burton is a guitar wannabe making bass sound like guitar by blasting his distortion over everything now who sucks shit?

this is coming from a bassist Dumbass!

Anyways, We can't make fun of him to much cuz hes dead !!! asshole!

  • cliff is the best of all time

  • Where is Steve Harris?

Come on, top list can't be made without Steve Harris (Iron Maiden). He should probably be no. 1. I mean, come on, he probably has one of the fastest fingers of all basses and is known for his galloping technique (listen: The Trooper and/or Run to the Hills). He is one of, if not THE most influental bassist of all time.

  • I'm with 44sekret44, the choice of bassists wasn't the problem, but the song choice could've been a lot better, especially for Geddy Lee, we didn't even hear one note he played

  • Cool, except we heard many of beautiful guitar riffs, certainly not played by those great bassists but by their bandmates :) so I think that lost the point. Cool choice, otherwise.

  • #1 made me so mad AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKK TOOL FUCKING SUCKS

  • Why? Don´t like the alternative metal?

  • LOL !!!!

    Where is Steve Harris !!!!

  • and robert deleo xD PLZ

  • Big Bang Baby -- Stone temple pilots

  • ultimate song name plz?

  • The Pot -- Tool

  • nice list its diferent i like i think im going to listen to some tool if everyone says hes that good :)

  • yaeh listen him, i know flea and claypool are mega fats bassists but chancellor makes the bass a really special feeling

  • due to the fact theres no john paul jones this is the worst list ever

  • @puggs6920 agreed a million times over!

  • John Deacon is a very underrated bassist. One of my favorites.

  • geddy lee is the best no doubt about it

  • Cliff Burton on 6? Oh man. He was best bassist ever. Listen to Orion.

  • yes, also I had heard orion, is an incredible song but cliff died in his best times, so he can´t demonstrate all his talent,

  • agree, he is stil best, he didn't die, we love you cliff, for whom the bell tolls what about that?

  • @tryde0 Well i listened to Orion and i wasn't all that impressed i still say Flea is #1

  • @tryde0 Personally I don't think he was as amazing as everyone makes out... Yes, he was good. Yes, he could solo. But generally his basslines were sloppy and sounded terrible on their own on the most part...

  • marcus miller????

    billy sheehan????

  • yeah I know its not fair for them but I choose bassists which I listen all them time, also I like jazz

  • on fleas bass it says circle jerk

  • yea well the songs might have not been picked to back their playing up, roger waters plays one note during that particular part of another brick in the wall :P

  • Yeah Its true, but i pick only little parts of the songs to make the video shorter,

  • "We don't need o education, we don't need no though control" I love this song =)

  • what is the name of the song of the 8 bassist?

  • its Big Bang Baby from Stone Temple Pilots

  • Yeah man nice!!

  • Thanks man but i think im gonna uploaded again to change some few things

  • very nice, im glad cliff was in it :)

  • Definetely Cliff is one of the biggest influences on hard rock basses

  • Pretty good, but you should have used "Schism" instead of "The Pot" for Justin Chancellor, or the solo part of "The Pot". Still, I gave you 5/5 because I liked it ^_^

  • thank you very much for your comment and your appreciation =D

  • nice list but I think you've putted the wrong songs in order to prove that those bassist are the best. For example, Flea's songs is pretty simple and won't show his real performance, especially not on Funky Monks.

  • ok thx for your comment
