Are you really sure about that? Because everytime they ask Ace about the possibility of a 2nd reunion tour he just says that he's not interested. It also seemed in his interviews like he was very anxious to leave KISS and get his solo group back together. Whatever the case, KISS is mediocre without him. And I think Tommy Thayer in Ace's makeup is a complete disgrace. I'll never lose that grudge and I don't care how old this issue is. Take care.

The breaking point came when Kiss was going to open for Aerosmith and Ace got pissed off because he felt Kiss was bigger than them and had no business being an opening act for ANYBODY. Gene and Paul basically told him to either deal with it or hit the road and in turn, Ace told them to go fuck themselves and quit. Can't say I blame Ace for feeling the way he did.

I owe Ace Frehley and apology. After viewing this I wrote a not so favorable review. Not too long after I saw Ace's show in San Fran 3/21/08, he was unbelievable, and his playing was spot on. He looked great, played great, and his band sounded great as well. With sobriety and a renewed attitude he has redemed himself and is playing better than I have ever seen him. If you are an Ace and/or Kiss fan you must not miss this show. This is the Ace we love. Great set list as well. -DD

Are you guys serious? I love KISS and I love Ace but this solo absolutely sucks. He plays like he has a broken hand and doesn't seem to care. He walks, talks and plays like a drunk. What a shame for a guy who use to be great and is looked up to by millions. If this is the quality I get when I see him, I will throughly be dissapointed and ripped off to boot. I don't think his fingers were sloppy - but there are always people out there criticizing despite not playing guitar (at least, professionally) that way they feel better about themselves. He was obviously dicking around and sometimes when you're jamming you try things that don't work out. All in all (especially given the sound quality) it was pretty good.

Only downside is seeing him stumble around hypnotically isn't quite as romantic when he's not in his costume...

I have to say that I went to the show expecting to be disappointed but I was actually impressed by the overall performance. The band was tight. Ace played as well or better than I have seen him before. Some of the other Kiss shows I have been to have been questionable at the least.
