Ah yes, Siggi. I remember that lesson :) I found it long time ago, when I was one of those beginner strumming patterns maniac. Since that moment I've learned, that pattern isn't that important, and now I'm able to play many songs without learning any patterns. But of course, it's important to learn some first, to set your strumming hand free, and get it going. To all complete beginners out there: Don't give up! You'll get there! Everybody had the same problems, that you encounter :) Cheers
