  • I danced with my father at my wedding to this song, the most amazing memories i have of him involve fishing and working on cars in our garage. not a dry eye in the house thanks trace, thanks a ton....cant hear it now w/o calling him teary eyed! xoxo

  • It's 1973 & I'm somewhere in Idaho catching my first fish (rainbow trout) with my Dad. I hope this song is appreciated for it's value and worth!   • my dad would go fishin with me and my brothers and they would fish i would do everything else i am sixteen and gets in fights with my dad constently the only thing that keeps me from not staying mad is that we just fish. my little sister also now goes fishing and she cought her first two fish this year and she is four. i am proud to call my dad daddy i love this song along with my dad

  • Wow Trace!! I love this song and I love the video!! When I was about the age of your daugher my daddy taught me how to fish at Little Bear Skin Lake in Wisconsin. We would vacation there every summer. When I first heard this song I had goosebumps all over and it still touches my heart in a way I could never explain. Thank you for recording this and doing the video with your daughter. From all of us "daughters" I say THANK YOU for bringing back the memory of our Dads!
