What would you call your front suspension type ? It doesn't look like the normal McPherson strut suspension of passenger cars where we have to use compressor springs to take out the shock absorber. I also see a double wishbone at the suspension top which links to wheel hub assembly,
@SickkKrew What tires you buy and what shocks you buy will make a huge difference in the way the vehicle rides. Do some research and look for some smoother shocks.
sweet, yours looks super easy, I have a 97 2wd, and that top bolt is hard as heck to get to, (broke it off) and still working on getting the bottom of the shock off.nice video..

@opsvideo2008 Its called a double a-arm coil over suspension. The other suspension type on the ranger is a torsion bar front.

excellent. I was just out there spraying WD-40 on a squeaky front shock....same vehicle. Your replacement video is great.
