  • Eles marcaram a minha adolescência com suas músicas. Amo-os. Maravilhosos!

  • Fantastic!!

  • I have almost all Depeche mode, Pet shop boys, A-ha and Modern talking songs on cds. Are there others people loving these bands?

  • me!! I wish I had those albums, too :(

  • Amazing song. what a lot of hit potentials were on Please and Actually, what a waste to have been hidden on the album.

  • i wish they would give this a go again ...this so brill come on psb ..lets have this again .

  • I love the pet shop boys and im 25 I was 10 or 11 when I got the tape and then my aunt bought me the cd a year or so later cuz the tape was shot to gell from listening to it for so long. PLEASE is awesome I thnk i am on my 5th please cd now

  • This song has an amazing effect on me. I always remember this song driving in San Francisco and it's like a dream

  • Should have been a single.

  • Liza Minelli's version was really good.

  • Maybe their most overlooked tune. Love this one.

  • I remember waiting MONTHS for "Please"

to be released in 1986 and i saved my pocket money forever. [Mowed a lot of lawns!] Great video, so cold and robotic,

whilst the lyrics suggest a love so hot on

    an adolescent summer night.

  • :) Brings back memories.

  • EXCELENTE

  • i havent got a job 2 pay,but i could stay in bed all day,pet shop boys r class introspective there best album i reckon

  • TECHNO

  • If this song doesn't make you want to dance, you must not have a pulse, lol. ( -:

  • There is also another version of this that Lisa Minelli sung on the 'Results' album she made with the PSB's.

It's totally different tho. Arranged for a HUGE orchestra, much more Lisa's style. I prefer it too.

  • great pet shop boys, my era still good tunes

  • Adoro essa musica. Conhecia apenas com a Liza. Mas com os Pet a canção ficou ainda melhor!

  • Wow, could there be a better dance song ?! I had actually never heard this one before, but it is absolutely amazing like so much of PSB other music.

  • oh my, the song is still amazing!

  • Cool song. Never gets old. Still as enjoyable to listen as ever.

  • Forever......timeless !!!!

  • ...Yes!

  • @Daveboy1967 yes very timeless 1969.........neverending.....sheer class.

  • @Daveboy1967 if you like stuff like this check my stuff out and my favs also .

  • Tonight is forever , ....

Open The door you hold the Key

Wow The Pet shop boys Rocks!!!

  • this is a amazing song!!!

    To listen on saturday night!

  • Oh I recognise Koyaanisqatsi straight away.. I used these scenes in my music composition Masters degree...

  • this song still sounds great, and i always loved the lyrics.

  • ONLY PET SHOP BOYS

  • @kisso1976yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • I love the city and this song

  • Always thought this was bizarre and certainly not an official video. Found out the source tonight when I recognized it. Comes Koyaanisquatsi, originally to music by Philip Glass. Cinematographer was Ron Fricke, director Godfrey Reggio. Just FYI.

  • fav. song really good song

  • I love this song from Please sung beautifully and appeals to all. Don't agree that it's Euro Disco though, just classic 80's sound with a hint of Bobby O' maybe New York sounding. My fav from please is I want a lover.

  • EURO DISCO!!

  • One of my fave PSB songs! Shame the extended video was taken down

  • what`s the meaning of"PSB"?

  • Pet Shop Boys

  • thanks

  • Blissful. Beyond any praise.

  • yes 1986 was a good year for pet shop boys and music of the 80,s was great generally

  • Classic, I love it.

  • @fishtank133

You've missed the 80s? What a pitty, it´s the best era ever!

  • Kiitos Tarja, Pet Shop Boys forever! King`s Cross ja Love Comes Quickly ovat parhaat ja tietenkin tämä.80-lukua ei voita mikään.Siirryn nyt Richard Marxiin/Angelia.Mitä olisi elämä ilman musiikkia?

  • Few of their clips and music videos are really undenyable gay,but their music gives both for gays and heteros such an enjoyment and emotion that happens perhaps only one time in the human life. They are universal and their sexuality doesn't influence it!!!

  • I was a sophmore in military school when this song came out wore that f***** tape out .

  • a classic!

  • what is this song about liza minnlli did her version with the psboys

  • Losing My Mind

  • Takes me back to the summer of 1986. Those were good times. The music of the 80's was the best ever. I had "Please" on cassette tape, bought it at the Main PX at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas in 1986, and now have it on CD. I could never get tired of listening to it!

  • I never saw the 80s, but I love the music!

  • Happy Birthday Christopher Sean Lowe

    4th October 1959

    wiewiórka 4th october 2008

    Legionowo/Poland

  • Same month as mine and almost the same day, though not the same year by far... : )

  • pet shop boy is the best.. nice song.. power

  • man this is great, why didn't they release this as a single? it's so good! (The synthesizer beat in the background is unmatchable)

  • wheres the talking bit at the beginning were it sounds like there having a party and i think its chris lowes voice...its on the album...i love that bit

  • The video is actually from a great piece of movie art called Koyaanisqatsi (Life Out Of Balance). An experience absolutely worth checking out if you love sceneries and pictures.

  • This song is way awesome. It almost seems as if it is more recent - the keyboards and the tune seem like it came from the 1990's.

I am suprised this song isn't more popular than it is.When did this come out again?

  • Classic 80's at it's best. For gods sake(and mine) PLEASE can somebody bring back the 80's???

  • Majestic tune.

  • i havent heared this since i bought the album(yes not a cd) thanks.xx

  • My favorite song from "Please" by a small margin, but my favorite nonetheless. Possibly the last great New Romantic song, too. And despite all my hyperbole, this song holds up on all levels. A classic.

  • love this is much as u ..sheer classic..timeless song ..bliss..

  • Love this song, wish they had of released it as a single too, I'm sure it would have gone to NO 1, love 'em xx

  • but there was never an original video?!

  • I'v been a fan since I was in high school and I always thought he had a beutiful voice I could listen to him for ever

  • Awesome song!I love both Lisa Minelli's and Pet Shop Boys' version!

  • essen

  • i love the music from the pet shop boys

  • I do not understand why this was not released as a single.

  • Again once nice song from PSB, again make me sad a bit.

  • Great video version whit toight is forever

    great creation whit this song

Thank you so much ViVa Pet Shop Boys

    Alan_Mode

  • great song that works perfectly with urban lights and architectituture

  • luhib

  • Most of the great minds and innovators of Ancient Greece, a civilization which greatly influenced western civilization as we know it, were gay. Thus, who cares!

  • Where are the city scenes filmed? Anyone know?

  • It is Los Angeles. At 1:19 you are looking at 6th st traffic coming towards the camera, on the right side of the two buildings is 5th st heading towards the fwy onramp, and behind the two buildings is Figueroa. The building on the right is the Paul Hastings tower, and just to the right and out of camera is the Hotel Bonaventure.

  • Thank you!! I just fell in love with my city again!!!

  • Maybe if they were not gay the music would not be so good. Who cares anyway. Celebrate.

  • excuse me but I have a question in all this opinions about the sexuality of the Pet ...

Is Chris Lowe gay or not? I know Neil Tennant is but he ?

  • i have a question.. what does their sexual preference have to do with the music they produce !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yeah, I'm straight, but dig there music..what does it matter?

  • Me too. I am married and a father of a boy. I play their music in my wedding. What does it matter? I BUY their CD and LOVE their music passionately.

  • Great work! Wonderfull classic PSB song works very well with the excerpt from "Koyaanisqatsi".

  • Thats what my wife says too. I know she's jealous of my taste in music. Even though we sat next to a table of gay men at an Erasure concert, she had a lot of fun.

  • How funny, my wife tells me I listen to gay music (ie..PSB, Erasure, ect). I just tell her she must be jealous she did not listen to it first :)

  • I find that funny, since both Neil Tennant and Andy Bell are gay.

  • That makes it gay music? What is gay music?

  • I'm not sure if the singers being gay alone makes it gay music. No one ever describes Husker Du as a 'gay music' despite both of its singers and songwriters being gay and I have a hard time thinking of it as such. However, Pet Shop Boys and Erasure are glitzy synth-pop rooted in disco that exhibits many of the aesthetics of that style as well as gay nightclubs. (At least based on my limited experience with them.)

  • Okay, I made a boo-boo. I heard that Giorgio Moroder is gay, but apparently he's not.

  • Okay I've just embarrassed myself needlessly more by posting a correction to a something I didn't even post because of character limits. D'oh! (Too bad this isn't like message boards where there's an edit function.)

  • Yeah i get that too! lol

  • The PSB rule! They have produced so many great songs :D but at school i'm the only one with PSB songs on my mp3 player n i always get branded as gay because people think its "gay music". Its stupid that people do that and call someone gay because Neil Tennant is/or the music is "gay" to young people of this century :(

  • Dont worry...we loved PSB back in school in the late 80's - mid 90's and it was labelled gay music then too. Just remember, "who gives a fuck what other people say?!!!" Always run your own race.

  • I'm sure your "friends" at school have listened at some point of their lifes to "Relax", of "Frankie Goes to Hollywood". Ask them if they know that FGTH is an all gay men band.

  • Only two of the five members of FGTH were gay

  • this is so beautiful... with a hidden sadness. :)+:(

  • Actually exits a extended version of Tonight Is Forever

  • good idea minimot - Tonight is forever, 08. That could really hit the solar plexus as long as they don't turn it into something jarring. Lots of melodic bass and persistant tones and maybe some russian male singers like on red letter day.

  • yeah... or a dance version for the next Disco album in a future... Disco 5

  • im sure this is grimsby, im certain i see the humber bridge.. ooh and my car!!

  • Despite the fact that they're driving on the right hand side of the road? ;)

  • It's NYC...there are some shots of the WTC.

  • well... looks like this city is New York

  • I love this song, but unfortunately it makes me think of my first love who dumped me. I still have my memories, though...

  • Have i mentioned I love this song? It's so insistently reluctant but goes for it in a really big way. This would be perfect for them to re-release and update a little.

  • Yeah, bring on Tonight Is Forever '08!

  • Yeah !, like Paninaro'95 and In the Night'95 !

  • The boys have never stopped recording. They haven't had to do a comeback because they've kept on working/creating.

They've created enormous standards to try and beat for themselves. How could they ever top something as wondrously sad and haunting as "Behaviour"? Everything else is great - but seldom touches the sheer slam dunk of Behaviour.

  • i'm from newcastle uk msame as neil i also have seen the utube lkike i from newcastle to

also i was 18 this was out ,thank u brian ive seen this vid on jan hammer vice theme but this is great ! Ron uk

  • When I was in my teens, which is 12 years ago, I loved this song, and I still love it ;-))

The city ... well, it's way too big - Atlanta, Phoenix ... or Mexico City? I have never been in those large cities and I suppose they are as flat as this?

  • Does anybody know what city is this?

  • IMHO it is WTC before 9/11, the corners of building are beveled just like the original twin towers.

  • apparantly it's Chicago

  • This is still one of the most underrated bands nowadays... They do good music... PBS rocks

  • Please is my favourite album, Tonight Is Forever is my favourite PSB song ever :) Thanks for uploading it.

  • one of the most underrated bands in the 80/s

  • What do you mean? PSB has always been respected highly for what they do

  • one of the most underated groups of the 90s and 00s......

  • moze byc

  • me gusto el video pero ay algunos exitos de esta agrupacion que pegaron mas duro

  • did i mention that i looove this song?
