Hello Medics,i tryed to search on rcsparks but there are so many treads, can you tell wich hex drivers you are using in this video,i would like to get some like thoses with the 1/4 end to fit on my cordless screwdriver,i found only one set wich is backorder on eds r/c tools.com,is that the one you use?if not would you help me with a link or something please?
Thank you very much for helping me out.Im patmaz73 on your forum by the way...:-)
Hi Medic i have a question to lift this truck a bit and more articulation do u only change the suspension ??? becuse i will prolly buy this next month and want it to be as good as the Jeep wrangler crawler
Have you ever had any problems with the driveshafts stretching apart? I've almost gone through 2 sets of shafts now. So, I'm looking at the Integy steel driveshafts. Have you seen them? Are they any good?
@djmedic2008 great the kid wanted 225 i wasnt doin that but i still didnt know if it was worth it for 180, got my comp rig squared away now its time to build a scaler and i didnt need the whole truck cuz chances were it needed to be all redone anyway lol.
If i get this kit and plan on using, traxxas xl-5 esc, 7 cell 8.4v battery, 27t motor, and possibly the three racing winch, traxxas 2075 servo, all into my 3 channel spektrum receiver do i need an external bec
sorry about this question but im new in the electronics part and i don't know if i had to buy something else beside the motor, the servo, the esc, and the battery.
do you reckon for what it is worth, getting a RTR & just replacing All the bits? I found it to be cheaper because there is a few things that I want to keep stock on the RTR honcho
when you got this part did you have a problem with the servo screw and arm hitting the frame cross member and causing it to bind ?... i had to notch the cross member out to work properly..
medic since your building one of these you convinced me to save up for one! LOL i want a scaler sooo bad now, im no longer getting an e-revo! LOL i have my rustler's xl5 esc and reciever that are waterproof now and since i got a velineon system LOL so im gonna do a mud truck like yours! excpet maybe a tad bit diffent but i want one now! LOL keep it up medic!
@keith179150 Dang it! lol.. its actually a KARZ RC club shirt.. they are sponsored by the UPS store... I knew that was gunna come up when I saw it in the vid...Lol
@beastly239 lol...because I'm a Youtube partner, all music I use has to be designed and produced by me. I have to own all permission, distribution and copy rights to 100% of the content that appears in my vids!
I to enjey the previous show format with basic descriptions, high lights and lows. Please don't do this again. I just fast forwarded to the end. Still looking forward to the finish of the build. Thanks
Nice video, but i would have preferred a bit of description as to what was going on as far as component install. As someone who has never built one of these types of vehicles, it would be helpful to know what is happening.
@djmedic2008 I have been watching long as you have posted vids. It would still be nice to know what is happening i this step of the build. It looked like there were some issues, although that could just be due to the high speed of the clip.

But why didn't you use a 5mm hexwrench for the nuts? Would be beter to handle than pliers.
