  • Go trumpet and euphonium!

  • Such a COOL song! I LoVe the part that goess from 6/8 to 2/4! It sounds like a high speed chase!! So Freakin AmAzInG!!! I play 3rd Clarinet so I'm in the middle of all the action!!!

  • This song was written for the 9-11 victims and the chase is when the terrorists hi-jacked the plane

  • I loveeee this songgg we played it this year.

  • LOL and you can see his face at the cut time from the brass... Rofl... That made me lose it. Watch your key signature!

    1st trombone w00t!

  • Ugly conductor lol

  • i couldn't hear the horns and trumpets.....

  • I love this song! My band just played it a few hours ago for our concert.

  • this part at like 00:47-1:40 is from a very old church song i think...

  • Yes, the hymn is "It is well with my soul."

  • im sure if the camera was placed somewere else, this would sound alot better

  • It sounded a lot like when my band rehersed it from my perspective. I was in the back on mallets.

  • Trombonist!on bar 67 there becareful with the Aflat!!its out!!tempo slowed down but very good liao!!jia you!!

  • I watched this song preformed the very first time it ever was. Washington Court House (Ohio) Community Band was given the honor by Swearingen to play his hand written version of it while he guest-conducted it. There wasn't a dry eye in the auditorium.

Our band director who was in that band had us play it for State Contest last year and we got Superior ratings. I really wanted to play Taps during the crash silence, but decided the judges wouldn't like that from a tuba lol.

  • Yeah i set up the camera and it was right behind us which is why we sound loud

  • sounds good but brass is a little loud and not balanced.they over powered the trumpets

  • yay!!! its us!!!!

    ~2nd trombonist.

  • it sounds good, but i think the trombone part was too loud.

  • I think that is camera positioning!

  • Yeah i was thinking that too.

    :P

its just kind of distracting. lol.
