"Hey, you got yourself a fish biscuit, how'd you do that?", "I figured out you complicated gizmo" "It only took the bears two hours." "How many of them were there?" I have that whole scene memorized
My school marching band played this to the counter march...you people probably have know idea what it is, but my is it fun to march too. If you want to see my band do this, look up nhmb and march show 2011. amazing. im one of the tuba players.
@FemaleTubas Counter march? I'm not too familiar with American drill movements, but in Canadian Forces drill, a countermarch is a drill movement to turn a band around and invert the positions of the members.
I was working on music theory homework while listening to this, and I literally timed the finishing of the last problem with the last two notes of the song. On the first, I threw my pencil down, and on the second, I slammed my book shut. I feel like such a boss.
este tipo de marchas militares son muy motivantes y le levantan a uno la auto estima sobre todo por las mananas hojala pusieran algo de su biografia atte argaso gracias
"Hey, you won yourself a fish biscuit, how'd you do that? I figured out your complicated qizmos, it only took the bears two hours. How many of them were there!?"
This is a Masonic March, written for the annual encampment of the Knights Templar, before 1900....The Crusader March is also dedicated to the Knights Templar Degrees.....And of course, "Nobles of the Mystic Shrine" is for the Shriners...
Yessssss. Brings back those good memories. Marching down the parade grounds in mass formations while Mr. Sousa plays his best stuff. Washington Post Marchand the Thunderer. Perfect for graduation. Hooah!!!
For those of you who think it's "Souza," there's an easy way to remember that his name is correctly spelled "Sousa." The last three letters are "USA."
One of my first Souza favorites! The middle medley beginning at 1:08 in grade school made me sing and think, "Do you know the Muffin Man, he lives down Drury Lane?"
@fhreimers I'm 38, and believe it or not, I first heard this in my first grade PE class! Our PE teacher was a real music lover. And, being only a kid, I thought that the second part of this medley sounded like "Do you know the Muffin Man? He lives down Drury Lane!"

Blarginin 1 month ago
@Blarginin do you know that mr. Sousa ( my all time hero ever!!!!!!) did not actually invent the sousaphone. Although he did make it famous

@KingdaKong161 He gave the man who invented it the idea for it, though.
