  • The GUS was the end all be all of hardware those days. Only grandmas had a soundblaster. Or maybe an adlib or corvus card

Man how Creative still exists when they alwyaws have offered the worse sounding/comptablity card ever is beyond me.

  • i did buy a GUS for listening this demo with music

  • "I am not an atomic playboy" ...'nuff said. Thumbs up :)

  • FUTURE CREW 4 EVER

    FINLAND ROKS!!!!!!!!!

BEST DEO OF ALL TIME !!!!!

MUSIC AND GRAPHICS IS BEST !!!!! ( at 1993 :] ofc)

  • Awesome! Absolutely gorgeous, the explosion is impressive! :D

  • interesting looking at the dates of these things these guys were probably pioneers in trance and similar dance music sounds as they probably were doing this way before those official pigeonhole names became widespread.

  • My 1993 rig, - 386 dx/33 - 4MB - soundblaster - 1 meg trident - 14" svga - LOL , wtf, doom, hexen, wolfenstein, duke3d, quake1 ran on it, with "ultra low res" LOL

  • 386 DX/33 here. haha 4MB, I think it was a 420MB drive. yeah, MEGABYTES.

  • back in 1993 when this was released (right after the assembly party in some school at Kerava Finland) I had 386sx 16MHz system with 2MB of RAM and GUS sound card. That was pretty much the minimum configuration to run this demo smoothly.

  • @spketola

I did find that GUS sound card at my basement. now all I need to find old enough motherboard with ISA slot to build up a computer that can run these old demos right.

  • Ah that brings back memories. I used to watch this thing on my computer all the time

  • genius music

  • One of the more recent Windows demos called Energia is really good. Total eye candy.

  • WHATS SO SPECIAL? someone would ask these days... But when FutureCrew released this Demo all we had those days was some stinking Intel 80486 CPU at 30 or 40MHz, 4MB Ram, NO fuckin 3D GFX Card, and almost crapy sound cards with a few voices. There been No fukin windows, Direct X or whatever enviroment. they coded ON BARE METAL! FutureCrew blew the peoples mind with this back then. There been NOTHING like that before. FC ROCKS!

  • Hard-coded software rendering vs 3dsmax "movie" garbage. Enough said.

  • On this time 80486 wasn't stinking, lol, this demo did need hi-end machine to run it and not watch a slide show.

  • @axel1973w Actually, many people has slow 386s in 1993. And they got Future Crew's magic anyway!

  • @Matchugovsky my PC was too slow for it...it did run but slow-ly.

  • @axel1973w 4MB? You're kidding me... I was still at 512k when this came out. lol

And FC FTW. None, not even now, can touch them.

  • THE demo of all demos :o

Many thanks for the upload, you rock!

  • You're mostly welcome! :)

And Future Crew rocks too ;)
