Yea they announced a while back ago that They changed the entire game up to make the game fast and fun, instead of being hard to control and strategically involved. Pelicans went from being a usable unit to only a transport option. Spartans were then also underrated in the game change but I feel they are fair in the full version now. Just counter them with Jackals lol.

I went about making my own RTS that has all the halo factions playable in space and on the ground, with Microsoft allowing me to do so, a free-ware game called Halo VS Star Wars, yep you heard it, an epic clash, of universe VS universe, UNSC and Republic VS Covenant and CIS, with awesome visuals, and great controls, a pure based fan game that, is developed by me, listening to what you guys want in it :), get involved, as it is really coming along nicely

Spartans actually would not be on the planet harvest because they had Just been augmented at that time and the planet had been cut with communication from the UNSC. and forces there were left to die. When the UNSC got to Harvest it had already been glassed. :P

Before they made halo wars like, you needing special building things to build your base. but before they scrapped it you could use spirits to drop reinforcements as covenant, and that awesome scarab, if you look at the back of your halo wars cover there is one of those old scarabs, that was awesome and the banshees actually flew around instead of just sitting in one place and shooting enemy forces... and the bes this was BASE BUILDING, and you see marines doing push ups, it was awesome!

no offence, but the thing i dont like about games like this, is that if you send a Marine against 10 elietes, the marine is obv gonna die, as for if i play that marine on a HALO, (e.g. halo 2) i'd be able hand there asses to them !!, its like, games like this, one side is gonna win if you have more people, but with a 1st person shooter, you can do more things you wouldnt be able to on this, if anyone gets me ?

Now, I've never played the game. Heck I only have halo 2 and a normal xbox, not a 360. But this doesn't seem like a halo game that I would want to play. What's Halo without Master Chief? I do admit, though, being able to play as the Covenant is pretty awesome. This is more of Command and Conquer than Halo. And that's not a bad thing, but this game just doesn't seem like real Halo to me. More like Bungie ran out of ideas.

This isnt a full on Bungie game though, it was created by another company (Cant remember who....), but they went bust straight after this game came out lol, so a number 2 is unlikely. It doesnt have master chief in it as its set before the discovery of the rings when there where a large amount of Spartans, so so spartans are in it and can be commanded to do some of the things you can do in the main Halo games.
