Hi, HondaRiderHBG. I was using Acceleration when I made this video, so Yes you can. The planes in this video cost money (Payware), but there are plenty of sites out there that offer Freeware. Just use google. When you find a plane you like, and you download it, you will get a Packed .RAR folder. Extract it, and put the pieces in their proper place. (Under Flight Simulator X in Program Files).
Hope it Helps! Google will help with many questions as well.
Good vid. I have to say though, someone has to make a decent F-22 that's actually worth something like $45! I've yet to see one so good that I would pay that kind of money for :'(
@Bagwsp yeah that would make sense. I just thought FSX F-22 addons would be a little more maneuverable. The real thing can turn much more quickly and snap into a cobra and out in on a dime. On a side note though, I would love it it the Thunderbirds started using the F-22 :)
The Alphasim one snaps through turns very well. It just doesn't have an afterburner effect, and a very unrealistic Fuel Payload.(I get like 800 miles to the tank). If I'm not mistaken, I think they used the specs from the XF-22 demonstrator from the early '90s.
i like how you can actually do pugachevs cobra with alphasims f-22 and that plane only in fsx. I have it aswell but part of my screen is missing and i have vista so what can i do to make that part of the screen show up?
If you purchased the aircraft, I would just suggest re-downloading it from Alphasim, and replacing the old files. Something might have been corrupted in the transfer.
If you did not legitimately purchase it... The best piece of information I can offer is to completely remove the Aircraft file, and reinstall it, as well as updating your game(If you have an older version). Please note, I did have Acceleration installed when this was shot, so I do not know if that had anything to do with it.
This is a fix from another video comment on you tube of AlphaSim's F-22. Hope it helps, if you're still having problems. BTW, I heard AlphaSim has an updated FSX F-22 model in the works. I'm holding out for that one.
go under the panel.cfg of the f-22 and scrol to the very bottom of it and change your default views to:
They are very nice, but the Capture Card I had at the time didn't like too much detail, so we just focused on the "Meat and Potatoes", but I do agree.
Level out at your Desired Altitude(<100Fft for me) and slow to a near stall of about 65-85kts and when the plan starts to drop, roll the bird and give it about 35% throttle and a slight forward pitch of the yoke(while upside down). You can only make it look so clean with a Thrust-Vectored plane. Thanks for the feedback!

The first half of the clip started at 80,000ft above Hampton, Virginia(Langley AFB), and we slowly decended down to 120ft for the Upside down slow-flight. The F/A-18 flew at 45,000ft. This is all listed in the credits, refer to them if you want the Airport codes and take a peek of the area.

Nope. Mine worked just fine. Make sure you entered your CD Key Properly. IF it doesn't work. Completely uninstall it, and try again.

Agreed. I traded my old BAE Canberra from FS9 for it. It's kinda hard to make an accurate F22 Flight Model when most of the specs are classified. XD

That was my only criticism. "Super-Cruise" is awesome, but it's not fitting for 6-G turns. :P
There might be a 3rd Party add on out there for it.
