  • This amp was responsible for Ted Nugents tone for years. Nuff Said...

  • The distortion on this amp sucks hard!! It sounds like a ripped cone. Weighs in at almost 95 lbs. and costs over $400 to replace all of the tubes. They were made between 1977-81. The harmonic equalizer is an interesting function but cuts your gain. It sounds best with the Volume and master output at around 5 an 6 respectively. Using a Strat, I set up the amp with High at around 6-7, Mid at around 5, Low at around 5, presence at about 6-7. Use the volume knob on the guitar to tame it. Works 4me.

  • I have a Super Twin Reverb and the reverb isn't that super. The reverb is barley present when cranked to 10 and short decay. Do you have this issue too? And yes, the distortion channel is a bad joke.

  • @Lowebrau The reverb on mine was busted, then i replaced some of the wiring to the reverb tank and it sounds pretty awesome

  • @spitfire9 I think I just need to replace the reverb circuit tubes...but I'm actually going to turf it and get a Deville. Less tubes and more gain = less problems!!

  • what effects you running? that sounds like Jeff Beck style tremolo bar--vibrato?

  • none, all amp natural

  • hey man, i have one of those, super twin reverb, i was wondering if you know what year was made, because i wana know what year is mine man,
