Even if he was to come in an agreement with Sony to mass produce these, the prices would be ridiculous and the build quality would most likely suffer to a pretty big degree. These are just my thoughts though, not really sure if they could do it or not.

i do think this is cool BUT i already have one of these and its called an Alienware M17x, AND i have windows 7, 1080p, backlit keyboard, ports, blueray etc etc. and the graphics are better than the PS3s. so awesome job with the mod, but there is just no need for it.

@epictwiglet You don't seem to know anything about computers, which is probably why you bought an Alienware laptop to begin with. This is a PS3 laptop. It plays PS3 games. Your Alienware laptop doesn't. It doesn't even have the same architecture. x86 VS Cell.

Graphics is one thing, games are another. It's like you're so eager to have the "best thing" that you're turning your brain off to compare apples and oranges, seemingly because of jealousy. Gaming laptops are fucking stupid.

ALSO games like GTA IV actually run better because of my more powerful system, the PS3 version was laggy as hell so i bought it again for the pc and it was amazing. my laptop tears the ps3 and the xbox to pieces.

so read up a bit nub. and its x64 ^.^ when you can afford one let me know how awesome it is.

GTA IV being a perfect example of a bad port. Again, it's not about power, it's about what games you can play on it.

x64 is the software architecture, and the processor architecture falls under x86, with x64 being an extension. x86-64. I guess that proves your ignorance.
