the other day i read that originally there was supposed to be a legitimate way to beat the running man. it had something to do with masks that were supposed to be in the game, but as a lot of us know the original plans for ocarina barely showed up in ocarina. the way to beat him would have had something to do with the bunny hood, which would have made link run faster like it does in majora's mask. a lot of remnants from ocarina's original plan ended up in subsequent main console titles...

Dude if I left Young Link in Hyrule Field over night, I'd wake up to a Game Over Screen because of the Stalchilds having been attacking poor Link... Also there is no way Link would suddenly turn into Adult Link. As you know, every area are the same, every character do the same actions, only changing slightly to progress through the story. Plus, if you did the Sun's Song in an area where time doesn't flow, you'd only be sent to as if you were entering in the area but in the different time.
